    Hubby installed 4 of these in our ceiling as replacement speakers. He is good at D.I.Y. so found it straight forward using a sheet rock saw. NB: he found hand screwing (they didn’t recommend a power drill) to engage the dog ears went on forever & the speakers are quite heavy to hold up in position with one hand while up a tall ladder: problem solved by me wedging an extension pole from ground up to the non vulnerable frame of the speaker which allowed hubby to rest his arms down occasionally. They look great. Incredible surround sound along with using our Polk center speaker as a 5.1.

    Bought two. The screen was bigger than anticipated so we returned them. It didn’t fit our application. They quality is great and they looked awesome, but it just wouldn’t work for what we needed. Good product though.

    We are using these as the rear speakers in our new home theater system. They match up well to the Polk bookshelf speakers and sub, along with the Onkyo receiver. We get great sound from them and considering we are sitting right under them, they disperse sound well in our medium sized family room. Nice speaker for the price.

    Sound is ok. I replaced three pairs of speakers. Looking back, I should have spent more and purchased the definitive technology speakers. 5 of the 6 still work and one was blown out with a sonos connect amp. Working the $99 price range, they are decent speakers, but I would not buy them again.

    Perfect solution for pre-wired living room where all we needed was to have lifer volume on TV (our Samsung TV doesn’t put out great volume for the size of the room). I can’t speak to ease of installation because I had a contractor install them as he was doing other work for us. But sound is great.

    I’m using these for atoms speakers in my home theater setup. I have 2 already and just purchased 2 more to complete my overhead set up. They sound great and work well as atmos speakers. The directable tweeters are great.

    Just added these speakers as rear surrounds in my home theater. So far they are working great. The adjustable tweeter allows for the highs to be directed. The surround was just a little larger than I expected but was able to make it work. Seem to blend right into the walls.

    Paired these vt60 with polk rc265 series in a 7.1 setup and the sound is great. Sound is clean and clear. Installation was very easy with the included template. Product registration website did not work had to call polk customer support to add warranty coverage

    I use this as primary speakers in my garage. I bought these for the in-ceiling aspect not sound quality. That said, these sound decent. As i am using these in an “all-channel mode” there are probably more than what I need.

    If you are in this boat, you might want to give the Yahama speakers a try as they come two in a box at half the price.

    I cannot say if they are a good value as I am really not testing their performance/sound quailty.

    I am AMAZED at the sound of these speakers. I’ve been a fan of Polk Audio for years and these did not disappoint. I installed them in the ceiling of my dining room so I can listen to music while dining. The sound quality is clear and well balanced, bass response is surprising for a speaker this size. Installation was simple and the grille provided gives the installation a clean look. Great for jazz & Classical. Follow the advice of others who say to put some insulation behind the speaker when installing, to improve bass response. I used some thick carpet padding cut to size, worked perfectly.
