    I grew up playing Pokémon on the game boy color and have fond memories of Pokémon snap and hey you pikachu on N64. So imagine my surprise when I picked up this title and enjoyed myself. Battles and gameplay are ultimately not a huge challenge, yet wins still feel rewarding. Dressing my trainer up in different outfits is fun. The storyline is iffy but meh, it’s not horrible. Overall it’s silly and fun and will keep any fan happy for hours.

    2/2 gamers in the house are obsessed with this. Can be paired with pokemon go app to trade certain things via pokemon home. We considered whether to buy the shield as well, and since we only have one switch, decided not to right this moment (but it will happen eventually.) The digital download code worked well, and no problems or confusion in the setup process.

    Very fun game and can spend hours on. Nothing really special then the older versions besides new graphics.

    The newer Pokemon games lack depth and adventure. This was a beautiful game with well made graphics but overwhelmingly simple. A child could reasonably beat this game in a few days whereas the older games could have taken weeks even for adults. It felt like a waste of money because it was such a short game with little to offer after beating it.

    Its ok, if you’re a huge pokemon fan, then you’ll love this. Be aware though, the beginning of the game is very slow but worth it once you get on the roll.

    This is the third Pokémon Sword game purchase in my house. We battle against each other via multiplayer in the different switch consoles. Lots of family fun. Definitely recommended.

    I bought this game a little late but I absolutely love playing this on the go! I know a lot of Pokémon Purists don’t enjoy too many of the design choices, but overall it’s a fun game
