    I bought this to save my front element shooting in extremely dusty and windy conditions. I didn’t notice any changes to image quality except glare from bright points of light

    A good value UV filter bought in an emergency. We have a running Joke that every time we travel I have to go to Best Buy to fix or repair or upgrade in another City. I needed this filter as I dropped the lens while photographing the Grand Canyon. The Uv filter took the brunt of the force and needed replacement. This filled the bill and seems to be good quality and it fits the lens.

    Purchased for a 50mm 1.8 lens also ourchased from Best Buy.
    I have UV filters on all my lenses to help protect the front glass from dings and scratches. The filter is much cheaper to replace than a damaged lens.
