    This unit doesn’t have CarPlay or Android Auto. It’s just a media player. And using the Pioneer app to stream onto the screen isn’t very reliable.

    One thing for sure pioneer isn’t what it use to be pioneer always had the best subwoofer adjustments but this radio isn’t worth the price its not subwoofer friendly im just mainly disappointed on the adjustments they use to have makes my subwoofers sound weak

    Weblink is a terrible app. doesnt have spotify, cant use anything while driving, and it drains your phones battery very fast. Like the other reviewer said this is only a media player.

    Eq settings require you to make the right adjustments to use perfectly with amp. Great screen size, feedback and audio quality overall. An amazing unit for price and quality. Great update for my Jeep JK!

    Not good. No car play. The reason I purchased this item is because the info card next to it states it has apple car play.

    I’m only reviewing this cause I think its something people should know. I never installed this head unit because out of the box I noticed that because of the way the face of the unit swivels, it had a slight “looseness” to the way it sat.
    It just felt like if I touched one side of the screen then the other, the unit would move. I didnt like the way that felt. I needed it to be tighter or give me the option to tighten it.
    To me, it seems like something that would get worse over time. And then eventually I would have a floppy head unit just hanging there that I either needed to prop up or replace.
    I also felt like the face of the head unit could accidentally get broken off if something weird were to happen. It does not feel sturdy. I guess that’s what I’m getting at.
    So I cut to the chase and got the Pioneer DMH-342EX, which is basically identical to this unit but a smaller more traditional screen.
    After install, the DHM-342EX works wonderfully. I will be writing a review on that as well.
    TLDR; I gave this a four star because its smaller brother the DHM-342EX is great, but I didnt like how loose it felt.

    Amazing radio except i cant figure out how to get waze to work while driving. Besides that it works perfectly in every aspect. Love watching netflix and youtube while waiting for concrete

    Unfortunately this ended up being to large for my car as it blocked part of the AC vent. Outside of that it was very good unit and have an updated look on the interior of my car

    Nice screen, no options, no android auto,no cd, but the wirste for me..no sirusxm antenna port. I bought this to un clutter my dash..now i have to add a whole other screen for sirrus..nope, returning tomorrow.

    Looks really nice but you are so limited on what you can do you might as well have a factory stereo. The one that came in my truck I could listen to SeriousXM and it was 10 years old. When I have the map open on my phone I can see it on the stereo but have to download multiple apps to do so. However it closes all the time and have to restart it. Was not work the $360.

    I was very surprised on how well this actually fit and gave me all the up todate functionality i was seeing in all the newer vehicles. My husband was actually please after buying the attachments so his back up camera would work as well.

    This Car Audio Stereo is Very Junk Genius Maps for Navigation You Have to Pay Yearly and They Do Not Respond Emails my Maps do not Work Properly as Maps do not Show on It After Link to Android Phone am Planning on Returning Stereo to Best Buy

    Pros: Very nice 9 inch screen. LED with 1080 HD resolution!

    Cons:
    1. Made for iphones only! Do not buy this if you are an android user. However, I can play music from my android phone via bluetooth. It works just fine but it will not allow my android to connect to Weblink. Weblink is primarily so you can do smartphone mirroring. I don’t know why Pioneer is using Weblink…weblink SUCKS!!!
    2. Background is limited to 3 shades of mostly bluish green…yes that’s it. If you like that color you are in luck.

    Unfortunately my return window expired, I would have returned this!

    good radio little too basic.. but it’s a good starter deck. on top of that the price dropped 50 bucks and customer service didnt wanna hinor the price drop. i had the radio friday on pick up installed saturday and went on wednesday sobinwas with in the 2 week price match guarantee

    i made the mistake but i had searched with specific parameters of Carplay and this receiver popped up below a receiver i was looking at. Noticed it was open box/excellent so not a problem wiht that but i noticed after receiving/installing unit, it indeed did not have carplay. i would have gone back to a higher price receiver if hadn’t thought it would not have same search parameters that i used. otherwise, the open box/excellent condition was exactly as i had hoped it would be so no complaints there. Just beware of “Other Options” on lower part of page.

    I returned this unit merely due to Best Buy’s greed. The unit was advertised with “Free Installation”, but that’s an outright lie when they force you to buy nearly $300 of installation parts… for a 2004 Trailblazer. I worked in Best Buy’s car audio in college, so I know parts shouldn’t cost 100% of the radio cost… not even 50٪. What makes their “Free Installation” scam even more obvious is the fact that they refuse to install less-expensive compatible parts, even though they’re available on Bestbuy.com and other car audio sites. Giving intelligent people the lame excuse “we’ve had trouble with other parts” doesn’t hide the obvious corporate greed.

    We purchased 2 of these. I did not work for our model car as it was a gift to my dad from us we did not realize he had climate control integration to his screen. Otherwise these screens are great for aging eyes.
