The only problem was when my daughter picked up her radio (Christmas present) she was required to pay $79-$80 for installation and 2 other things……wireless harness and face plates. My daughter has scheduled her radio installation for January 11, 2024 and I’ll send with her my printed order that I bought the entire unit with parts and installation. Thank you for understanding and making this Christmas present correct and refunding my daughter’s $79-$80 dollars.

It is a great head unit. It works as expected. Speakers sound much clearer than before. The only thing I wish it had was a knob to control and mute the music. The capacitive touch is not ideal while driving to mute the music. Otherwise, it sounds great and easy to use.

Not really the rating for the product but how it went trying to get it installed. I had got my radio stolen so I went to BestBuy to buy one and have them put it in. I first get delayed because I didn’t have a certain part for the radio. Had to wait about a month. The appointment came I get a call saying simply that they couldn’t do it. So now I’m told I have to go call around to other shops and see if I can get it installed. I hope they don’t expect for me to pay for a installation fee. Really disappointed in BestBuy and how the installation took so long. Beyond frustrated.

I liked the radio at first but after a while car play stopped working correctly. We reset it but still didn’t work, kept cutting out when driving. Replaced with same radio and Siri didn’t work correctly. Replaced with Sony after and have no issues.

This is listed as a fit for A 2017 Honda HR-V but it is not. It doesn’t support the backup camera and the blind spot camera. I knew I needed to buy adapters and a dashboard kit for it which is not a problem because best buy sells all of those things but for the features of my car to not be supported on a radio that claims it is a match for my car is frustrating. We returned the radio and went for a kenwood that does support these features.

Was very happy to upgrade to a CarPlay system. Syncs well with my phone Bluetooth and was installed well by Best Buy. It took a few days for it to connect well over Bluetooth and my biggest complaint is the volume has to be increased or decreased by pressing a button to change it one level so it takes a bunch of clicking to turn it up or down. It is also a pretty bright screen sometimes at night but if I don’t need directions I can turn the screen off.
Just a heads up there is a hidden cost of installation gear. Says the price of the unit and markets free installation but they don’t mention until you make an appointment that you need to purchase hardware to connect the system to your head unit. Kind of lousy but predictable.

Installation was easy and it really changed the whole feel of the car I installed it in. This was for my wife who has an older 2013 car that’s paid off. She was on the verge of getting a new car mainly because she was tired of not having bluetooth functionality and was a little jealous after seeing some of the audio systems in newer cars. After the install she was super impressed with this radio and felt as if she had a new car. Totally worth the investment if you’re car/radio feels dated.
