  • G-Series Speakers
    This G-series speaker cone has a blend of Mica minerals interlaced with Polypropylene during the injection molding process for sensitivity, low distortion, rigidity, and strength.
  • Mid-Range Dome
    The mid-range is a 30mm PET Balanced Dome producing vibrant high frequencies, and its OFC shorting ring minimizes distortion when you turn up the volume.
  • P.F.S.S. spider
    P.F.S.S Spider supports the voice coil by dampening the large cone vibration enhancing linearity of sound reproduction. Its soft part makes movement smooth to reporoduce clear sound and at excessive input; its hard part controls excessive vibration and prevents movement error.
  • Install and sound to suit any car
    These Pioneer speakers are an excellent choice to replace factory speakers. Its two-way design features Pioneer’s strong and lightweight IMPP with MICA composite cone woofer for improved sensitivity and reduced distortion.

    I cannot fathom why these have a 4.5 star average. I have to believe most people installing them have other speakers in the network masking their faults. The specs indicate that they reproduce down to 33hz (which I knew would be false, but not how badly). These give up and go home around 200hz.

    I wish that was the worst of it. They’re completely lacking in depth and just sound flat and lifeless. The 40 year old deteriorating factory speakers I was replacing in my Mercedes sounded much better than these do.

    Unfortunately I had to trim the ears to get them installed, so these unreturnable pariahs will be going in the bin just as soon as I can find something better.

    Buy something else. Just about ANYTHING else!

    added these to a factory stereo with factory speakers, went to best buy today picked up 2 sets of the pioneer 6×9 speakers installed today, sound great for a factory stereo have it in a dodge grand caravan

    I purchases to replace OEM speakers in 2006 Chevy equinox, had to do some modifications to actually get them to mount but they did mount adequately into the door panels. The sound quality was better than the speakers that were originally in the car

    I purchased these with the intent of replacing my stock front speakers since they were the same size. I figured i could get away with a larger speaker so i opted for the same model just one size up (6-1/2″). They are very slim so i didnt used the speaker mounting rings i purchased. I dont regret that decision. Compared to the stock speakers these sound amazing and i had no issue getting them to work with the factory radio. I picked up harness adapters and everything installed easily. The box comes with a template for easy installation. Also include a hardware pack and univeral spade connectors (which i did not end up using).

    Replaced my OEM Pioneer speakers on my 25 yrs old Lexus SUV also with a new Sony deck. Made a huge improvement in sound. These speakers are exceptional quality. Very crystal clear sound specially with the 2 way speaker design.
    Don’t expect a huge bass but it has a decent level.
