Multiple brushing modes make it easier to get a level of clean based on your brushing routine (frequent to not so frequent, for example, or when you eat something that leaves a little extra in your mouth) and the 30 second pulses allow you to give a thorough brushing of each “zone” (top, bottom, front and back)

    I LOVE it! I started using the Sonicare about February 16, I still have not had to recharge it. The beep every 30 seconds is great in helping me brush all of my teeth the correct amount of time. I would highly recommend it.

    Given as gift. My daughter and I have the same one and love it. Easy to use. Always have it on the gum care setting. Subscribe to auto replenish and you don’t ever have to worry about it replacing the heads

    This toothbrush does clean well. It has a few other modes which I believe they suggest getting different brush heads for. I’ve only used the standard clean mode. I feel like the brush is too powerful. The instructions state you should be able to change the vibration when using it by pressing the mode button but….when I do that it doesn’t seem to change at all. Occasionally the brush has slipped from my hand while brushing and the neck of the brush rattling against my teeth is not pleasurable at all. You really need to stay focused while using this brush to avoid the shaft of the brush hitting your teeth while brushing.

    Philips Sonicare – ProtectiveClean 5100 Rechargeable Toothbrush – White: I fully charged battery and have not had to charge it for three and a half weeks now. The cleaning head is just a little smaller than I am used to but seems to do the job. I like the little plastic top you can place on toothbrush between cleanings. Overall seems like a good deal, got it on sale.

    Second Phillips Sonicare Rechargeable Toothbrush that I purchased and I recommend it as a great dental hygiene product. It is lightweight, battery lasts enough to use twice daily for a week, and it leaves your mouth, gums, and tongue much cleaner than a regular toothbrush. I would definitely recommend it.

    My previous ‘Diamond’ Sonicare finally stopped working.The ‘Diamond’ version was recommended by my dentist, but I ended up not using all the cleaning settings This ProtectiveClean 5100 series does the same job as their more expensive Diamond version for much less money. The 3 settings (CLEAN, WHITE, GUM CARE) is all I really need. I’m glad I decided to spend less money and still get what I need.

    It’s a good sturdy toothbrush with three settings, one regular, on for whitening and one for gums.. Unlike the 4100 series toothbrush I had before, this comes with a charger and a traveling case. The only question I have is the gun setting recommends a G2 brush head, whereas the standard setting uses the C2 brush head. I can’t imagine changing heads, so I’m using the C2 brush head for everything, since I like the surface more. Also there is an indicator telling you when you need to change brush heads, I’m not sure how that would work. My dentist recommends sonicare.
