this is too expensive compared to my older 9300. I mean this is good, cleans better, more elegant, small form factor, but almost doubled price, I don’t see the price difference compared to my 9300.

Great high-end toothbrush, definitely notice a difference in cleanliness and teeth whiteness. Also, the app is a fun feature. Some difficulty syncing with phone on occasion, and some limited ability to time each side of each section of the teeth when brushing.

I had a sonic are tooth brush for years. The version with the glass charger. This Sonicare 9900 is in my opinion a huge difference. This version is like the Rolls Royce versus an average car. The tooth brush head really massages my gum and cleans my teeth much better.

I have had 6 or 7 different Sonicare toothbrushes throughout the years but THIS ONE is a HUGE upgrade! I’m so impressed that it’s so much higher quality and tech than my previous ones. The optional app is easy to use and set/up couldn’t be easier! My teeth feel so clean and my breath is greatly improved.

Wow works great! A little getting used to after using a normal toothbrush but definitely feels clean. The intensity is a little confusing to change but once you do it in the app it’s pretty easy. And the case is just so slick and cute!

I ended up returning this to Best Buy only because of a sale with the manufacture during the Christmas season. Otherwise I would have kept this one. It is smarter than a fifth grader for sure. The only real down size to this toothbrush is the price.

Love this toothbrush, purchased in slate for myself a few months ago and got this one for my girlfriend, not a great value as I am sure other toothbrushes do the same thing for much less but it has been flawless and has a great look. Would recommend!

This is simply a first impressions review. The brush head will take some getting used to. It’s a little larger than the brush head on my old Sonicare. I also have a pretty small mouth. It’s definitely easier to get around my braces with the smaller brush head, but I will try to get this to work! The app is easy to use. It was easy to connect and it’s pretty neat with the feedback and tips it gives you when you’re done brushing. My teeth do feel cleaner compared to my old one. They feel smoother. I do wish you could make a profile where you maybe told the app/toothbrush you had braces or something similar. At least just so it knew. I didn’t find anything like this while playing around in the app. Overall it’s very nice. You are able to disable a lot of the features, although at this price point and just the point of the toothbrush in general, it wouldn’t really make sense to do that. If you aren’t into all the different features, then maybe go for a more simpler one. Otherwise it would be just a waste of money for you.

Obsessed! If you are really into having clean and healthy teeth — this is the one for you. + I love how the app shows you exactly where you should be brushing more and for how long.
The only con is that you need to have your phone with you every time you brush your teeth if you would like for it to register.

Its very elegant and performs as described in the sales literature. My teeth felt cleaner and bighter just after a few uses. Also, love the feedback and improvement suggestions in the app. Have had a few connectivity issues with the app but, though annoying have been able to resolve them. Also, would expect that if one spends $399 philips would include more than one replacent brush. Overall pricey but, nice.

Loved this thing when I first got it. But then the handle part started to get hot in my hand. Thought maybe it needed to die and then I could recharge and try again. Also tried not using it for a few days, But nothing helped. Don’t feel safe using this at all

Love the design. It doesn’t take up much room on the bathroom shelf and the buttons are flush with the handle so no more getting toothpaste into the crevices and making the buttons not work. Love this re-design of the handle. Holds the charge a long time so I usually don’t even have to charge it when traveling,

Great toothbrush when it works properly.. About 8 months into using this toothbrush it became insanely loud when operating. The strength of vibrations has deteriorated as well. Philips customer service were not able to resolve the issue. $399 is a steep price to pay for a product that doesn’t even last 1 year.

Definitely an amazing clean. My old oral-b electric toothbrush died after many years. It was purchased from a dentist office and lasted 3 years. I was skeptical about the Philips Sonicare, but took a chance. The technology is different from the oral-b and I had to adjust to the technique. The clean is excellent and the guidance simple to follow. I will say I’m not a fan of using my phone to see details, but you can sync after you brush by connecting to the phone. The size is ideal for small hands and it is attractive for those of us who care. The carrying case is nice for travel and not overly huge. I do find it to be pricey, but if it lasts a couple of years like my prior oral-b then it is worth it.

This is the third Sonicare we’ve bought and it is a very nice toothbrush. I will say that Philips has gotten very cheap with as much as this costs in that they no longer provide additional brush heads as with the other less expensive toothbrush systems. The last one I had only lasted 2 years. Thankful for Best Buy and the TTS protection though. Would recommend it. The charging case is very nice for travel and works well.

I upgraded from the base Sonicare model that you can pick up for around $40. Even that was a massive improvement over standard brushing, but this toothbrush is a worthy upgrade if you want to take your brushing to the next level. The brush head does a good job with coverage while the 3 different power levels provide suitability for different people. It will even auto adjust the power level if you are brushing too hard. The carrying case is amazing & perfect for travel. I had a harder time transporting my older brush around due to lack of a case. Its also very durable; one drop was enough to take out the cheaper model, but I’ve dropped this a few times and it still works like day 1.

This version of the toothbrush has capacitive buttons, which are easily (and accidently) pressed changing the vibration pressure while you brush your teeth evertime. I highly dont recommend. Major design flaw

Great toothbrush. This is my second Phillips sonicare. The only reason I purchased a new one is because I had it for years abs I wore the other one out. This one is even better. I also downloaded the app which makes sure I didn’t miss any spots while brushing. I’m looking forward to seeing the dentist to see if she sees any difference. As for the cost. It was a little pricey but well worth it. If purchasing, check the colors. I found they were different prices due to sales.

I purchased this toothbrush as a present for my partner, because she loved all the features of the 9900 when I bought my own earlier this year. Philips does a wonderful job packing in a number of useful features, such as usage and pressure tracking. This is a far better product than the cheap subscription toothbrushes that are advertised online, which never seem to have your toothbrush heads in stock when its time to swap them. Spend the money and get this and youll never replace it.
