    I haven’t use an electric razor for many years but this one could convert me from being a blade guy. It gives me a comfortable shave that lasts, but isn’t quite as close as a blade. For comparison, my beard is not tough an I like to use this razor in the shower with shaving gel.

    The small shaver does not work well on thick hair, the main shaver needs hair to be very short to cut evenly. Snags and is inconsistent.

    I’m back to a Norelco after trying a foil type. The foil type was painful and missed hairs that lie flat, but it gave a close shave. The Norelco gets everything and feels great. Reviews were concerned with power button location and shaving under the nose. My finger location is not near the power button while shaving and I can cut up to my nose using the side of the individual head. My only negative is getting a clean sideburn trim.

    It’s OK. Not terrible. Not great. The motor always sounds like it’s about to die on me which is annoying. On the other hand it works ok. Like I said it the best not the worst. Just average.

    Philips Norelco – Shaver 5300, Rechargeable Wet & Dry Shaver with Pop-Up Trimmer does a decent job. It does a better job when you use it with water and my skin feels smooth afterwards. The blades last a long time which is plus and cleaning them is super easy. It will not give you the closest shave but it does the job. Shave in the shower and you have a winner!

    Con:
    Will not to spend a bit more if you want self cleaning.

    Ultimately this serves it’s purpose for me.

    You get a close shave, but it does not have the coverage of my old philips. For your mustache you need a trimming device to get close to the nose.
    I purchased in NOV 2022 and am noticing that I need new blades as of AUG 2023. These are speedy blades and did not last a year so that is a CON. I mean they say change your blades annually.
    Ergonomics wise this is a bulky electric razor and I find myself using 2 hands at times to make sure it does not fall out of a single hand.
