    Hello, all. After having tried to save money a few times by purchasing low-cost alternatives on Amazon, I can tell you these heads are the genuine article and give a very close shave.

    The knock-offs lack the thin bronze blade that the genuine article has, and give a comparatively poor shave.

    If you want a shave as good as you had with your shaver when it was new, buy these. Not worth the time and money lost on the counterfeits.

    They are a little sharper than the HQ9’s that I replaced. These are the replacements now for HQ9. The HQ9’s were better if you could find real ones and not generic knock-off’s that are usually worse than the ones you are replacing. These, are mediocre at best.

    This are the actual blades that come on the razor when it’s new so they’ll definitely make your razor cut like it did when you first got it. In my opinion they’re a little bit pricey though so I took off a star.

    I have an older Norelco shaver that originally took the HQ8 heads, which have been discontinued . These SH50 are the current replacement. They fit in the shaver perfectly and give a nice smooth shave

    THESE NEW NORELCO BLADES MADE MY SERIES 5000 SHAVER WORK LIKE NEW. IT GIVES ME THE SMOOTHEST SHAVE AND REALLY LEAVES MY FACE CLEAN OF ALL GROWTH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BLADES AND STAY AWAY FROM THOSE DISCOUNT BLADES. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE SHAVE THAT THE ORIGINAL NORELCO GIVES YOU-TRUST ME!!!!

    This is an item that I only purchase once a year. That said, Best Buy continues to offer this in-store in my location and at a lower price than others (local, Amazon, etc.). It is relatively easy to swap out old razors for the new.

    Very reliable blades for my Norelco shaver (series 5000). Easy to install and provides a great shave. Lubricating the blades every once in awhile is recommended to extend the life of the product.

    Bought these SH50 Norelco Replacement Heads for my older Norelco rotary shaver. It is recommended that they be replaced every 12 months. I only noticed my shaver was not giving me a smooth/close shave and decided it was about time to replace the heads after 8 years or so. These replacement heads fit perfectly and are doing O.K.. The shave is getting better after a few weeks of shaving. I suspect the heads have a “break-in” . The face of the heads has a different design then my original heads. There are two areas on each head with holes vs slits. I believe the older head design may be better overall then the new design, but I could not find the older design. We shall see how they perform after 30 or 40 shaves. I really like the Norelco Rotary Shaves, this is the second shaver I’ve had in many years. I believe this shaver gives the smoothest/closest shave for an electric shaver.

    My shaver used the HQ series of blades, but Norelco said that the SH50/52 had replaced them. These blades do not work as well as the original. However, I could not find the original HQ series blades. This review is about the product, not Best Buy which merely sells them.

    Great replacement for well used original shaving head.
    Suggest putting a couple drops of sewing machine oil on heads twice a week and run the shaver against your palm to distribute the oil to maintain the sharpness of the new heads.

    Purchased a set of heads from Amazon for a little less money. They were worse then the heads I was replacing. The heads I purchased from Best Buy are original replacement heads that work as they should. No Amazon next time lol.

    In December, I bought TWO sets of Norelco razor SH50 replacement heads. One set was delivered. Since then, Best Buy has repeatedly committed the FELONY of making the FALSE CLAIM that you were unable to deliver the second set.
    GIVE ME WHAT I PURCHASED !
