TECHBEENGOOD –
[From my wife, the only user of this Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000, Cordless with 7 Accessories] I’m a newcomer to electric shaving. This past week of new experiences makes me wonder why I put off going electric. I’ve successfully used this easy-to-control shaver completely dry and also under the shower, with and without my favorite sudsy soap. All these experiences were different, but the result was pretty much similar. And, in every way, they were better than my razor. It’s nice to be able to get a closer shave of every skin area without risking shaver burn.
Without completely dismissing Philip’s descriptive names for their accessories, let me offer my perspective. Having used razor blades for many years, my (conditioned) natural shaving motion would drag the lower cutting blades across my skin and not allow the foil to fully contact my skin. So, I placed the “Skin Stretcher Cap” on the shaver head, and it forces a proper shaving angle. All three cutting surfaces remain exposed, but the cutters are more parallel to my skin surface. Works perfectly for me. I can highly recommend the Philips because it cuts closely and easily matches my old razor. It has a full set of accessories which all make the task comfortable, safe, and as enjoyable as shaving will ever be.
Philips’ other accessories further modify the shaving experience:
SKIN STRETCHED CAP, as described above, is my favorite. It fully exposes the cutters and foil, but controls the angle of shaving.
SOFT GLIDE CAP slightly covers the top and bottom cutters and only fully exposes the foil cutter. It is recommended for underarms and under knees where the tighter angles would make safe shaving more difficult. This is a perfect choice for these areas, especially when I’m half-asleep.
The TRIMMING COMB is the larger comb for the regular shaver head. It works nicely to significantly reduce the length of larger, thicker areas of hair.
Trimmer head with comb, accomplishes similar reduction of hair length but for smaller areas.
Cleaning brush
Exfoliation glove has the feel of dry sponge (kind’a like loofah)
USB-A charging cord (only)
Pouch
The only note of concern is the lightweight plastic material used for the various accessories, especially the “CAPS” which I find critical to my enjoyment of the Philips shaver. The fussing required to place and remove them could lead to a broken piece. It hasn’t happened, but plastic is not very forgiving.

This Philips razor is pretty nice. It has two main attachments, a razor and a trimmer. Plus a host of other accessories! I think the key to using this is to go slow. I used the razor on my legs and underarms. It works well. I like that it comes with an exfoliating glove. The instructions are extensive but actually really helpful. This can be used wet or dry. I have done both. On my legs, when dry I could feel like a slight razor burn but it went away quickly. No irritation seen. In the shower, when wet I didn’t feel the burn at all. I like that it’s rechargeable, and has a light that you can see when it’s charging. Super handy! For the trimmer, that’s where I believe going slow is going to help. The instructions say to do that dry, which works, but move slowly to effectively trim the most. You can use it when wet as well, but dry will be more effective. The different heads attach and detach easily, and cleaning the razor is a breeze since you can just rinse off the attachments. Overall it’s a nice razor. Will work well when you are in a hurry in the shower and when you have time, to trim where you want as well.

The shaver is attractively packaged and comes with a number of accessories, including attachments, an exfoliating glove and a pouch to hold them all. It comes with a charging cord that must be plugged into a standard USB-A port such as on a charging block or a computer; there is no separate charger. The instructions are in what appears to be a small booklet but opens up to one large sheet with lots of small text, numbered illustrations, etc. Workable but not exactly an easy reference doc.
My wife had the following comments on using it:
This electric razor performs well dry shaving legs. It is easy to hold and did not irritate my skin. It has been years since I used an electric razor and after using it, remembered that they do not shave as close as a good blade. That said, this razor is easy and quick for times when getting in the shower for a perfect leg shave is not convenient. The Phillips 6000 comes with many attachments that are well explained in the extensive directions that are included. I found the directions helpful when trying to pop off the plastic combs and other attachments without breaking them (use your fingernail!). The design is comfortable to hold and the shave head is at a good angle.

I picked up Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 for my wife as a gift. She has been using razors and I knew there is something out there that will be as awesome as a regular razor. This set comes with a trimming comb, head with comb, skin stretched cap, soft glide cap, cleaning brush, exfoliation glove, pouch, and USB-A charging cord.
Here are a few pros after I have consulted with my wife who used it for about two weeks now:
1. Easy to use, its design and build are excellent.
2. Your woman can use it in a dry setting or in a shower (more on it later).
3. It is lightweight and cordless.
4. It is pretty easy to clean and recharges quickly as well as it maintains its charge for a long time (about 40 minutes) as well.
Now as far as the results, I can attest that it leaves the skin smooth and silky. I cannot say it will replace the good ole razor, however it is pretty close. Thankfully, no nicks or cuts. I would suggest that your loved one use it in a shower, although the dry application is fine, just make sure to use some lotion for a smoother application and better results.
I think it was a good gift and will be perfect for our travels and camping and at home use.

I have tried several electric shavers for women that claim to be the best one but usually tend to fall short. This one pleasantly surprised me. It’s a pretty simple and uncomplicated device offering several options with multiple attachments to help reach virtually any grooming needs you may have. It’s lightweight body and its shape makes it comfortable to hold in your hand while also easy to maneuver. The ability to use it wet or dry is also convenient. The exfoliation glove was actually a great addition that I thought I wouldn’t have a need for. The battery life after full charge is more than adequate for my needs and seems to be pretty accurate with the up to 40 minutes of life claim. And most importantly for me and anyone with sensitive skin, its claims of being gentle are more than just words. I was able to use each head with absolutely no irritation to my skin which is huge for me. The skin stretcher cap is a huge plus for those tricky areas where you want a closer shave but need to get the skin taut. Overall, it’s a great option without all the frills a more complex option may have.
GirlsCanTechToo –
I’ll admit its been a few years since I used an electric razor. I used to use one all the time, but found a manual one I really liked and have been using it instead. I used to have really sensitive skin on my legs and razor burn was a frequent problem. My skin has toughened up over the years, but I’ve developed another issue that keeps sending me back and forth between a couple different doctors. My skin will break out in tiny rashes. These rashes mimic a bad cut, such as one that (haha!) I got from my razor, or maybe a sharp object, but these are random breakouts that are not caused by injury, and are very small. However, it adds a whole new level of difficulty when shaving.
Enter the Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 razor. I forgot how much more gentle an electric razor is on my skin over a manual one. Every woman has a different tolerance with any razor, so results may vary, but I believe an electric razor like this one can reduce this problem for most, especially if you have any other skin issues.
EXPERIENCE
The Lady Electric Shaver includes multiple pieces in the package, including a couple different trimming combs, along with the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap.
– Trimming combs are exactly what they say – a comb-link attachment that helps trim longer hairs. – For general leg, underarm, and arm shaving, the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap are nice add-ons. Think of them like razor guides, not because they are controlling the direction of the razor, but are providing additional surface for the razor, which smooths and flattens the skin to help it catch more of the hairs.
I particularly liked the skin stretcher cap. It has a extra “arm” (only way I know to describe it) on the plastic attachment that extends beyond the surface of the razor head. Held at the correct angle, it stretches the skin so there is a larger flat surface for the razor to pass over, requiring fewer passes in those tricky areas. This, along with the soft glide cap, are easy to attach and remove, making it easy to swap them in the middle of shaving. I did find that they did not fit on the razor head as tightly as I would have liked, and a couple of times they tried to detach, although I believe it was due to the angle I was holding the razor that caused me to put more pressure on the attachment than the razor itself.
I have very fine hair, so in using this razor, I had to go over some areas multiple times, but this is to be expected in my case, especially if you shave frequently, say, daily. I tried this both before and after showering, and I found that after showering gave me the best results. I don’t like to shave in the shower with an electric razor as, again, my hair is fine and it just makes it harder to get good results. Overall though, using the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap gave me extremely smooth skin, possibly more than a manual razor, and possibly because my skin was not overreacting to the harshness of a manual blade. It does take me a little longer using this, but since I’m not in the shower, the water isn’t running, so my showers are quicker. It’s also important not to move the razor too quickly, but also not to hold it in one place (as per Philips’ guide). I found slow, straight strokes at about 2 inch per second was a good pace.
Also included with this set is an exfoliating glove and drawstring tote bag to hold everything together. The exfoliating glove is rough, like a very rough luffa, but that’s part of how it does its job, helping to prep the skin before shaving. I did use this, but very gently and trying not to pass over the same region more than once to avoid irritation.
BATTERY OPERATION
This razor is cordless, battery operated, and is safe to use wet or dry, although dry is recommended for a better shave. It has a 2-prong connector for the power cable, but the cable plugs into a USB port, which may not be readily available in a bathroom. I had to charge it in my bedroom with a surge protector that had USB ports. Philips states that a 10-hour charge will yield 40 minutes of run time. The one bad thing is that I charged this razor for much longer than 10 hours, and the little white light never went out, which seems to be confirmed by the instructions. In other words, there is no visual on the razor that says it’s fully charged. There is also no battery life indicator, so you have no way of knowing when it’s getting low. I found that even with the issues I have with my skin and that it takes me longer than a manual razor, my shave time was between 5 to 7 minutes, so after fully charging, I should be able to get through the week and then charge it over the weekend.
CONCLUSION
Whether you prefer an electric shaver, or just want to be able to shave outside of the shower, this is fantastic electric razor that includes attachments to handle legs, arms, underarms, and intimate areas. It has lots of attachments to help with the job, and a tote bag to keep it together and make it easy to travel with. It does a great job without a lot of effort and is generally more gentle on your skin, so razor-burn-prone ladies, this is the razor you want!

This Philips Lady Shaver comes nicely packaged with lots of accessories and a nice pouch to keep everything contained. It would be ideal if the pouch was waterproof but that’s not an issue. It charges with a USB cord which obviously comes with the shaver but you do have to have a USB wall charger (not an issue for most people since so standard these days). The instructions are on a folded light-weight paper which is not ideal (more on that later).
The shaver seems to be high quality, and fits nicely into the hand. The design is perfect for arms, legs and private areas – seems to contour to the body very well. It came already charged which was nice and when charged up, seems to last a very long time.
Shaving – all of the attachments, especially the soft glide cap, makes for an extremely gentle shave. I have sensitive skin so that was noticeable. The offset to that however, is that you don’t get a really close shave and you have to go over and over the same spot multiple times when using some of the attachments. It seems to work best without any of the accessories attached and on my legs and privates. It was adequate on my underarms. The best feature of the shaver is that it can be used wet or dry. It’s nice to bring it into the shower.
It would have been very helpful to have had a booklet with illustrations for how and when to use each of the attachments. The paper instructions did cover that but very briefly and the format of this big piece of folded paper was cumbersome.
Overall, the shaver is definitely worth using and I would recommend it. You just need to take a little more time but much better than standard disposable razors for a comfortable, gentle shave.

I was super excited to try my new Philips electric shaver. I tend to shave my legs on an infrequent basis because it’s just so darn time-consuming and I don’t tend to wear skirts. But if this worked, I’d practically look forward to it so at least my legs looked smooth and pretty for myself. My plan was to start with the pubic hair trimmer and see how that went. All I can say is OUCH. It pulled and tugged on the hairs and didn’t manage to do all that much. It wasn’t severely painful or anything, but it most definitely wasn’t comfortable. A pair of scissors works much more efficiently.
After that debacle, I changed the attachment to the skin shaver and began on my legs. Although it certainly does shave the hair it simply leaves rows of stubble that are basically what I would have after shaving with a regular razor and then waiting a few days for the hair to begin growing back. In other words, it’s terrible. It doesn’t do what you need it to do. The one positive thing I can say is that the hair—even the longer pubic kind—clears out easily under a stream of water. I also liked that I could use it in the shower. But since it doesn’t really work effectively as a replacement for a mechanical razor, there is no point praising its positives. I will not be using the device again for anything.

The Philips Lady Shaver comes with everything you need for a smooth hairless skin. This shaver is design to be used all over the body. It comes with several accessories such as a trimming comb, skin stretcher cap , exfoliating glove, and a pouch. The shaver itself is very light weight and easy to grasp. Its design makes it easy to manuever around your legs, bikini area and armpits.
The attachments are so easy to take on and off with the help of a small button on the back that ejects them out.
This is a shaver that can be used wet or dry and I did not encounter any problems while using.
The Philips Lady shaver is powered by using a usb cable which is included but no power adapter. I dislike when products do not come with the power supply needed. Thankfully, I have several power adapters at home so that was no issue, but can be a problem for many.
Although this shaver has a nice design and comes with many cool accessories, I did not think it did a great job at shaving because it was not very powerful. I tried it on my legs and even though it got the long hairs, it did not get the tiny hairs. I tried several times going over even changed attachments but no improvement whatsoever. I do believe this shaver is more for thin hair or for a simple trim but definitely not for a good clean shave many women would like to have using this product.

Had the help of my wife to write this review. Overall she’s satisfied with the shaver. Handle isn’t overly large so it was easy to hold and position as needed. The trimmer head with the comb attachment works well for shortening an area and doesn’t trim so short that it leaves you prickly. No issues shaving the underarms. Shaving the legs it did well on longer hairs but it just didn’t seem to get all of the shorter and/or finer hairs. She also had to go a bit slower in more sensitive areas and said It does work better in the shower than dry.
This shaver uses a USB cable to charge, but does not include a wall adapter. We have plenty of them so that wasn’t a big deal.
After charging overnight we tracked how long it was used before needing to be recharged again and it ran for about 30-35 minutes, which is close to the advertised expectation of up to 40 minutes. You’ll just have to remember to bring the charging cord with you if you take it with you on a trip where you need to use it more than once or twice.

The Lady Shaver Series 6000 by Philips is a versatile electric shaver to have in my bathroom. I am able to use it on my underarms, bikini area, and legs. On top of its versatility in body area coverage, it’s also suitable for both wet and dry use. I mostly prefer dry use.
This set comes with two razor heads, the main shaver and trimmer. The main shaver head comes with a 3mm comb for the bikini area, a soft glide cap for the underarms, and a skin stretcher cap for the legs. The trimmer head also comes with a 3mm comb and is smaller than the shaver head.
The main shaver head works well enough on my underarms and legs with the proper attachments but in my opinion the trimmer and comb are designed better for use in the bikini area. The way the comb piece attaches to the main shaver makes it so the trimmed hair gets caught within the piece of plastic that curves under the comb teeth. It doesn’t allow the hair to fall off easily. However, the trimming head comb is built differently so loose hair doesn’t get trapped.
As far as battery life, I’ve used it three times with no issues, and it is advertised to work for up to 40 minutes. The included pamphlet is extensive with small text, but was effective in teaching me about the accessories. This set comes with a little cleaning brush, exfoliating glove, storage pouch, and a USB charging cable; charging box/adapter is not included.
I see myself continuing to use this Philips electric shaver for my legs and bikini area, but I wish the main shaver comb was designed differently. Electric shavers like these are not going to give a super close shave, which is understandable, but I did notice my Philips Norelco electric shaver gives a closer shave than this Lady Shaver Series 6000 model.

The Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 is a convenient trimmer that has a lot to offer in a little package. I’m not new to electric trimmers, but have previously only used the Norelco OneBlade (which is technically a men’s trimmer) which has been my go-to for the past year because of its reliability). I will be comparing the two going forward because the OneBlade is my gold standard.
The Lady Electric Shaver (which is a mouthful! I will call it the LES 6000 from here on out) is easy to hold with a smooth, ergonomic design. I liked the clean color scheme and found it more aesthetically pleasing than my OneBlade. It looks nice on the bathroom sink and comes with a plethora of accessories, some of which are more useful to me than others. The OneBlade doesn’t come with a pouch or exfoliation glove, so it was certainly a pleasant surprise. The LES 6000 comes with the standard little booklet of instructions and information that the OneBlade did, and I have the same complaints about it that I did with the OB’s: it needs to be more user-friendly. I would have liked a step-by-step guide with easier-to-follow illustrations instead of having to read the (entirely text-based) instructions and then go back to the other side to refer to “Fig. 16” or whatever like it’s a textbook. I’m a visual learner but I think most people, even those who aren’t, will find the instruction guide to be a slog.
In use, it’s a little loud but on par with my OneBlade. The rounded edges of the trimmer head and attachment tips make it feel gentler on the skin, especially when using the “smooth glide” attachment for those rounder areas like the kneecap and armpit. It can be used wet or dry and taken into the shower (though of course, not while plugged into the wall) which is critical for me as I, like most people, do most — if not all — of my shaving in the shower for easy cleanup.
I couldn’t use the OneBlade for body hair as it couldn’t seem to grab my body hair well. Granted that it’s a trimmer for men, I wasn’t too disappointed since it works great on the pubic area. I’m E. Asian and have dark hair, but I don’t grow a ton of body hair so I was convinced it would run into the same pitfalls as the OneBlade, thinking that maybe electric trimmers need a lot of hair to grab onto. To my surprise, the LES 6000 works fantastically on my body hair! It can get a pretty close shave with the trimmer comb, leaving about 0.5cm of hair if I had to guesstimate. That will leave behind noticeable hair, but as someone who personally prefers having body hair (I’m an adult human woman so of course I have body hair!) that is actually a benefit. Using the “skin stretcher” attachment gets a closer shave and only leaves behind visible stubbles. I also tried using no attachment and was pleased to see that it didn’t cut the skin or cause irritation; of course, using it without an attachment gets the closest shave, but it still isn’t a clean shave. To the eye, it looks pretty dang close, but it doesn’t feel smooth to the touch.
I didn’t notice a huge difference using wet or dry. The guide recommends dry shaving, but I would say it seemed to work better on my legs wet. The LES 6000 does admirably on my body hair, but I did see it struggle with the pubic region. I just couldn’t get a decent trim, even having trimmed with scissors beforehand, and it didn’t get as close with the guard as it does with my OneBlade unless I took the attachment off. Trying to shave the pubic region with the trimmer comb as the instructions stipulate left behind maybe 0.5cm to 1cm of hair; in the LES 6000’s defense, it was a very consistent trim but I did feel that even the standard guard on the OneBlade got closer. I gave up and used the skin stretcher cap in an attempt to get a closer trim, got down to maybe 0.25-0.3cm, which was closer to the OneBlade but still not quite there. So I then gave *that* up and just took the attachment off to see if it could match the OneBlade. Doing that, it did get pretty close since I think the OneBlade usually gets to around 0.2cm-ish with its guard on…but that’s not how the LES 6000 is instructed to be used, and I don’t feel safe using the trimmer without a guard on such a delicate area. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me as I don’t mind having ~0.3cm of hair down there (for health reasons alone, that is a good length), but if a woman wants a closer shave for date night or what have you, it will be a disappointing shave if following Phillips’s instructions.
A major consideration when it comes to electric trimmers is that even without an attachment/guard, you will not get as close a shave as a razor. This has its pros, as shaving can cause skin irritation, redness, ingrown hairs (which can then become infected), and razor bumps. This is especially a problem with the pubic region where cuts can become a genuine infection risk. On the other hand, some people want silky smooth skin; in this case, an electric trimmer from any brand will not work, even without using safety guards/attachments. Keeping your expectations realistic is key when getting into electric trimmers.
I knocked a star off for the excessive charge time:battery life ratio. My OneBlade can charge in four hours and get a full hour; the LES 6000 needs TEN hours to have just forty minutes! When testing it out, it did run pretty close to that forty. Still, you will more or less always need to be charging this after use. I also dunno what plastic this trimmer is made out of, but hair sticks to it like nobody’s business. I can easily dust off my OneBlade while shaving, but even rinsing it didn’t get clean off all the hairs. The included brush is a must-have since without it you cannot get this thing clean.
Overall, the Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 is a good trimmer. Since I can’t use the OneBlade on my body hair, I am pleased to see that it works brilliantly for that purpose. It’s well-designed, effective, and easy to use. The included “extras” are a nice cherry on top but alone are not worth opting for this over other trimmers.
As it stands, I recommend the LES 6000 for women wanting to trim their body hair with an electric trimmer but the OneBlade for women wanting a closer shave as well as for men, keeping in mind that you will never get a clean shave even with the absolute best electric trimmer money can buy.

Oh man. I have all the words for this thing.
I absolutely hate shaving, especially in the shower when I’m trying to get ready to go somewhere.
This thing has completely saved my life because I no longer have to worry about dry shaving and it being a problem for cuts or super dry skin.
I haven’t shaved my legs in literal months, probably since April before summer and used this today.
WOW.
My legs are so smooth, clear of any knicks or cuts, and so freakin smooth. I am incredibly impressed by this shaver. It doesn’t have actual blades but the knicker type blade in it and it worked so well. It includes a small brush to take out any hair that gets impacted as well.
I tried this elsewhere and I don’t think I’ll ever use another method for down there because it was smooth and easy. This thing is a game changer and I no longer hate shaving.
Every woman needs one of these because it has made my life easier and also so much less painful. I no longer have nicks and cuts in the worst places and it’s so easy to use. This thing is worth every freakin penny.

I needed a replacement for my 10 year old Remington personal trimmer. At the time I purchased it, a bunch of accessories were included, but being a novice at ‘self’ trimming, I didn’t really understand what they were for and over time lost or tossed the extra pieces. The Philips came with some accessories as well, so I tried to make sure to read all of the directions and what each piece is actually used / good for. I like that I can shave under my arms AND my actual arm hair with the Philips and the kind of grated attachment. I think you wouldn’t be able to grow either very long in order for the shaver to work best, though. Too long hair will snag! I was also curious to see how it worked in the shower, and as the directions state, it’s going to be best used dry. Not that it doesn’t work at all in the shower, but I found it distracting to worry about whether or not the unit was getting too wet, and the hair on my legs didn’t stand up that well in the water? I loved the extra exfoliating glove included in the package. And I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m curious to see how the skin-stretching attachment elevates shaving my legs. I would have opted for a breathable mesh and / or darker colored fabric for the storage bag. White isn’t a good choice. Good shaver so far. 2 shaves in! 😊

The Phillips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 is my entry into the electric shaving. My experience so far makes me wish I had tried it sooner. It provides such a smooth shave either wet or dry and I just love the versatility and the results. Up until now, I had been using a battery trimmer/shaver but have grown tired of it getting moldy quickly and the goop that the shaver heads come with. In addition to that they cause ingrown hairs, particularly under my arms. Ever since I began using the Philips electric shaver, I have not had that issue anymore, actually my skin has become smoother and cleared up. The instructions recommend dry shaving and I find that I prefer it because I tend to forget to shave in the shower. Not only does dry shaving save water, but it also saves me when I’m about to go out and realize I forgot to shave. It’s also recommended to shaving before bed to give the skin a chance to recuperate from any irritation through the night. While I prefer this, I have found that on the days when I do shave during the day, I get no irritation whatsoever. I will note that when I tried wet-shaving I did feel a lot of irritation on my skin. There was no visible redness but I felt a strong sensation of burning itchiness that hurt when I scratched too much. So, I really prefer the dry-shave results with this shaver.
Using the exfoliating glove provided regularly works great to prevent ingrown hairs and to keep the skin smooth. Thus far, I have gotten a far closer and smoother shave than I do with my disposable razor. I will add that my leg hairs are thin, with the exception of those nearer my ankle. There are times when I struggle to catch the hairs, such as when they are still fairly short, but going slowly tends to work most of the time.
The trimmer also works great. One thing I wish from the trimmer was that the comb attachment had different height settings. The comb is pretty long in my opinion so there is not much of a choice in the length it will leave the bikini area unless you wing it without the attachment. That said, the shaver option has a comb attachment that leaves the hair slightly shorter so that can be used instead of the trimmer.
The device can be opened up after each use to clean any hairs that get stuck inside. I always do this and allow it to air dry before putting it back together and storing it to prevent any bacteria or gunk buildup inside.
It comes with three attachments for the shaver, one for the trimmer, an exfoliating glove, and a storage baggie. I like the bag provided because it keeps me from losing the attachments and I can find everything in one place when I need it. It also comes with a long instruction pamphlet that is very helpful in getting to know the product and recommended uses.
This is a well-made, good quality, and aesthetically please shaver. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a better shave that is gentler on the skin.

This Phillips Lady Shaver 6000, is a wet and dry shaver for women. It is very useful for trimming and grooming your bikini area, shaving your legs, shaving under your arms, and trimming wherever you need trimming. The razor comes with many accessories. The accessories included are the power handle, which after charging, lasts approximately 40-45 minutes. The charging USB cord, a white bag/pouch to hold all of the accessories and the handle, an exfoliating glove, a trimming head, a shaving head, skin stretcher cap, soft glide cap, trimming head comb, and a trimming comb. The trimmer, trimmer comb are used for the bikini area. All of the accessories are easy to clean with the useful cleaning brush. The razor doesn’t take that long to charge. Sometimes I got up to 45 minutes out of it, but most of the time it was around 38-40 minutes. It depends on how much you use it and whether or not you fully charge it or not. This is a really good set. While shaving my legs, I did have to go over them more than once. Under my arms, was the same. The trimmer, however, did a really good job using it once. I’d recommend this set to any lady that likes to keep trimmed and groomed

Historically I would use my husbands trimmers for my bikini area from time to time. The problem I always had with using his trimmers is that it was super easy to cut or pinch especially areas that are not flat. Especially in sensitive areas that was never fun! So far I have not had that issue with this shaver/trimmer! This trimmer comes woth several attachments and accessories along with a little carying bag. The exfoliating glove was a great addition! I tried multiple attachments and was successful using all of them. Using no attachments worked best for me. I was so nervous that i would encounter the same issues as past trimmers but i was plesently suprised. I got a nice close shave and didnt pintch or cut any sensitive areas! If you are eager to use this product- something to note is that unlike other trimmers I have gotten in the past, this one does not come pre charged. My husband was intrigued with this trimmer and decided to give it a try also- he said while he liked how gental it was, it took many more passes for him to get everything trimmed as usual. His hair is more corse which could be why it didnt trim as efficiently for him. I did not try this on my legs as I do not grow much hair on my legs and the little i do have is very blonde and fine.

This electric shaver is pretty smooth, has various options, and does its job for the most part. It does still have what most women’s electric shavers have going on which is a big promise that it’s different, but then we realize its kinda the same. Here are some pros and cons:
PROs
– The shaver is not harsh at all
– It can be used both wet and dry
– It comes with a small brush used for cleaning the razor (this is useful!)
– Also comes with exfoliating gloves (these increase shaving quality)
CONs
– Hair often sticks to the plastic so you need to run it under fast water to clean
– The facial shaver piece isnt as effective as just a razor (it helps with peach fuzz though)
The efficiency cap, at least for me, is not helpful. I don’t use it at all as it seems to only stop me from getting a closer shave. Otherwise, the shaver pretty much does what it’s supposed to do, I just didn’t find it to be anything special or unique about it. It is smooth and worth the price tag though.
– It needs at least 3 passes to get all the hair
– It isn’t as close as I’d like; often leaves stubble

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 as reviewed by my wife. I have always been a standard shaving cream and non-motorized or electric shaver kind of person. It was a good experience using it both dry and in the shower. It actually gave a pretty close shave.
In the box you get the trimmer, trimming comb, skin stretched cap, soft glide cap, cleaning brush, exfoliation glove, pouch and USB-A charging cord.
The skin stretch cap worked great to make sure you were shaving at the right angle which really stunned me that it worked great and gave a really close shave similar to my old school razor.
The included brush makes cleaning a breeze. You can also use the button to take the head off and clean it out inside.
You get about 40 minutes of shaving per charge. I felt like it was kind of loud when it was running.
PRO’s:
– 40 minutes of charge
– Lots of attachments
CON’s:
– Noisy
– The accessories seem cheap and plastic like they will be easy to break
SUMMARY:
Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for an item like this.

The Philips Lady Electric shaver has been a great little addition to my shower routine. It charges pretty quickly and does a great job of getting hard to reach hairs in my bikini area. It does give a gentle shave and i did not have any ingrown hairs afterward. the rounded trimmer does help not pull the hair, but I did have a couple tiny spots that did pull.
My Electric shaver did some with the pouch, glove and attachments for the head. It was very easy to change out the heads from the rounded trimmer to the traditional trimmer head. I felt like the glove was too rough for my sensitive skin, but it is probably perfect for other people.
The charge lasts for quite a while, I have used it 6 times so far on a single charge, but I think it’s almost time to re-charge. I did notice that I had to move fairly slow to get all the hair, and not have it pull. but that’s a small price to pay for not having to worry about nicking yourself.
I would recommend this shaver if you are looking for a versatile replacement!

So far, this Philips Lady Electric Shaver has been a mixed bag. It works really well when trimming longer hair around the bikini area. It makes trimming so much easier than manual methods and razors.
Where the trimmer lacks, at least for me, is in shaving armpits and legs. Without the included skin stretcher cap, it takes multiple runs over my skin to get all of the hairs short enough to consider a shave. With the skin stretcher cap, shaving takes fewer strokes, but still does not get all the hairs shaved easily. I’ve tried this wet and dry and the results have not varied. I do have very fine, blond leg hair, so this may be part of the issue. Also, this is my first time using an electric shaver on my legs instead of a razor so I may need to adjust my expectations, but so far this shaver takes much longer than a regular razor.
The positives of shaving with this razor: razor burn and irritation are non-existent and there are not nicks or cuts from slipping, distractions, or going too fast.
If you’re looking for an electric shaver for women, make sure you know that this unit will not shave as close as razor. Overall, it does a decent job, but takes longer than I’m used to.

The Philips SatinShave Prestige Women’s Electric Shaver is a great cordless hair remover with trimmer. It comes with multiple attachments that are interchangeable. I like that it can be used both wet (in the shower) or dry. I tried using it both ways and had great results. I like that the guards can be removed if you prefer a closer shave or trim. It is easy to clean and figure out how to change out the trimmer heads and/or guards.
It is easy to charge with the included usb charging cord. The charge seems to last fairly long when being stored in the included travel bag. I do wish there was a charge indicator light or some way to know when the razor needs to be recharged. That would be helpful.
Overall, I really like the size and weight of the razor and the ease if using it. The razor can be used on underarms and the bikini area easily. There were no irritating bumps after use and no razor burn at all. I did not try shaving my legs with this razor as I prefer using shaving cream, so I can review how it shaved legs. It is however, a great portable razor for the bikini area.

This shaver has a nice ergonomical design and comes with good amount of attachments. A 2 in 1 shaver and bikini trimmer, which includes 4 attachments and a travel pouch. The carrying case is nice as well.
For the price it does the job. It gives you 1 hour of shave for 1 hour of charging. 1 Hour roughly equals 3 shaves. The good part about this shaver is that a quick 5 minute charge can help you if you are looking to do a quick shave.
The tip of the shaver is nicely designed so that it guides the shaver well and does not create any scratches on the skin.
The shaver can be used as a wet or a dry shaver. My wife prefers to use this as a wet shaver with a cream so that there is less irritation.
The shaver has a battery indicator which is very useful to let the user know when to charge the shaver…
The price is just right for a shaver which is a no frill simple to use shaver and functions well. For folks who want to switch from the razor and want to avoid razor burn, this is a great alternative and at a lesser cost and pays for it over a period of time

This is a decent razor! It isn’t the most precise razor in the world (which is to be expected from an electric razor), but it works fairly well. It came with a carrying pouch, several attachments, a charging cord, and an exfoliating glove. The design of the razor is great; the color is very nice and the device feels smooth and sleek. There is a slight weight to the tool that gives it a high quality feel as well! The versatility of the razor is great in that it can shave anywhere on the body (including the bikini area if desired), although it was most effective at shaving the legs. It works both wet and dry which is a great perk too. One downside is that the shaved hair tends to get trapped in the razor fairly easily instead of falling out, so it can be a hassle to have to stop and remove the hair periodically. When used on the legs, this razor provided a shave that was clean and smooth to the eye, but to the touch it was not the closest shave in the world. Overall, this razor is convenient and works very well for a quick and clean shave, but unfortunately it is better on some parts of the body than others, and you could likely get a closer shave with a plastic razor.

After using this product for a couple weeks, I was fairly satisfied with the results.
Pros-
– I was able to get four shaves in before needing to recharge. This includes legs all 4 times and bikini 4 times. I did not run out of power during any of these uses.
– It shaves quickly. I was able to shave my legs and full bikini in about 5 minutes.
– Easy to hold, I did not experience any cramping of my hands with use.
– Easy to clean- pop off the shaver head and rinse!
– feels sturdy and of good quality
– easily packable for traveling
– fairly quiet for an electric razor
– quick charging
Cons-
– Does not provide a close shave. It gets the job done but it doesn’t leave your skin smooth. I have used men’s electric razors of different styles and have gotten a much closer shave than what this razor provides.
– I could have done without the attachments
– I personally don’t like pink “women’s” items
– feels like it falls into the “pink tax” category. I’ve used “men’s” razors with better results.
Fairly good women’s razor. Good for quick touch ups or on the go shaving. Does not provide a good smooth shave.

It does cut the hair on the leg but not close shave like a razor
