    This remote will not control your fire stick!!
    It just has a handy slot built in to the back of it to slide your original fire stick remote into it.

    I really like this remote. I’m able to use my fire tv remote then flip over and use my dvd and steam device on my tv with ease.

    This did not work for me. It would never control my Marantz Audio/Video appliance. The programming was very difficult. So many codes. The auto method would once or twice activate the power but then I could not figure out how to make it stick. It would send like 10 codes at once. I can not recommend this.

    This was looking good on paper, but when I tried it it was a little inconvenient. I would press the buttons on the back remote sometimes on accident. Not the best idea. Would not purchase again.

    Simple idea but super beneficial. I bought this for two reasons: 1) I kept losing the Fire TV remote because it was so small and 2) I wanted to keep track of less remotes. This solved both of those issues. The FireTV remote fits perfectly as intended. The universal remote programmed to my TV easily. The only downside is that the Buttons (like Home, Menu, etc.) don’t exactly match up with my TV. I’m sure it’s hard to keep compatability for all TV models. It’s very usable still.

    Most likely user error (throw in a bit of stubborn attitude as well), but having to re-program a remote to stay connected to a tv is annoying.

    Works well. Will only hold a certain Firestick remote though you don’t need one. You can control tv and Firestick with this one remote which is great. You can also control dvd players, surround sound, etc. If you’ve lost or damaged a Firestick remote, this one is probably the best substitute. Oh, you have to have a micro screwdriver to remove the battery cover, unless you’re just going to pull through the screws.

    Didn’t quite fit the remote from my Fire TV, it’s a bit too big to fit in it, but I managed after putting the batteries in last. Works great with sound bar that I needed it to work with so that’s a plus.

    Got this for to have one remote for my TV instead of 2. So far it works great. One thing I did not like was that if you use the original TV remote it will mess the universal remote and it will stop some features to work. And you will have to reset it again.

    Basically, you put your Amazon fire stick remote inside the back of a universal remote for keeping them together. Works as it’s supposed to.

    I had to remove batteries cover on Fire Stick. Also had to trim Fire Stick slots. Was able to insert Fire Stick into remote. Inserting remote batteries was a challenging. Used electrical tape to seal up unit.
