  3. Joop

Fire, fits all needs compact and portable. It just works

  4. Jack

The medium cube provides plenty of storage and is very customizable. It fits in any carry-on luggage without have to invest in a full backpack.

  5. Techguy

This is a very well designed product. Easy to use and great quality.

  6. Earl

Best cameras cube I ever own, it exceeded my expectations

This cube is great for storing your camera gear in a neat and organized manner. With the internal dividers, you can configure it in many different ways (see the attached pic for my setup). There is enough padding on all sides which offers good amount of protection for your gear.

I bought it along with my Peak Design travel backpack and have it permanently installed inside the bag. I also left one of the side access flaps permanently open inside the bag for easy side access to my camera (see pic). It surprised me to see how much gear I could fit in it.

The only minor gripe I have is that the top opening has a little bit of a “lip” on two sides that extends into the bag. So anything that is packed against any of the walls hits the lip every time. After a while I got used to it but might be an issue for some.

Overall this was an excellent purchase for me.

Great way to organize and keep all your camera equipment safe.

Perfect size plenty of Room for extra lenses I love the fact that it opens on the end so you can get to your camera in out quicker manner and it’s a good quality and waterproof.

My job requires me to take a lot of pictures on the go. This is perfect so I can place my camera safely inside the bucket as I drive and shoot. I’m too lazy to keep storing it in my camera bag till I’m done for the day.

I used Peak Design medium camera cubes to organize my different camera systems. I have Nikon Z cameras & Olympus gear so I used two cases to keep them ready to travel. I’ll drop whichever camera I’m planning on using this trip into my backpack. The compartments are easy to reconfigure to safely store your lenses, filters & accessories. Nicely constructed, they could be used with any travel bag or by themselves.

Peak Design is a frustrating company. They do so many things well and a few things that are fatally problematic. I had to return this. The dividers have velcro on the bottom. This is nice, but it’s so abrasive it scratches gear. Fortunately it didn’t scratch my lens, just a charger, but the whole point of an insert is that your gear comes out looking the same way it came in, not worse.

So I could devise a way to add fabric over the dividers so it doesn’t scratch my gear…or I can return it and buy a neweer insert for less than half of the cost that suits my needs much better.

Otherwise? Well, if you’ve seen one Peak Design bag, you’ve seen them all. The fabric is stiff and nice, the zippers are so stiff they’re barely usable. You definitely need 2 hands 2 get anything in or out, whereas most of my bags, I could leave on the table and open up. Peak Design bags also REALLY skimp on padding across the line. I don’t know why. I suppose it’s “probably” fine. I could always put my super expensive lenses in an insert, but cheaper or more mainstream bags have generous padding I trust much more. If you lift this bag, you will hear your gear rattle because the padding is stiff and thin. My Neweer insert is squishy and silent, in contrast.

This is a bag that looks great and has a great design and even a quality feel to it, until you open it up and feel the padding and the scratchy velcro. If they had a smarter padding design, it would be a dream insert.

Super helpful in organizing and storing gear. It’s well designed and customizable, Peak Design gear just hits different

Fantastic bag! Very sturdy with quality fabrics! I actually used a strap from my yeti cooler and started carrying it around. Enough room for my camera with a 70-200 and 6 other lenses medium/short lenses. I also use it as an insert for my hiking bag, makes life a lot easier on the trail bringing my studf

  15. Tech0

As is usual w/ Peak Design products, this is a well designed and thought out storage cube. It has bought front and side doors. Inside has plenty of room for a medium size mirrorless camera like a Canon R5 or R6 with 24-100 attached plus a 100-500, and one or two more small to medium lenses or other accessories. It’s well padded, so no worries there.

The exterior is the same nylon from Peak’s backpacks and slings. It feels good and is quite durable. It has has loops on the exterior if you want to add a strap to it (not included) and use it as a shoulder bag.

My problem with it was it was too big to fit in any of my day hiking bags (20-32 liter). It was just too tall. Maybe someday they will make a slim version that will fit in hiking backpacks, but for now, if that’s your motivation, buy w/ caution. So I’ll give this one a qualified recommendation.

Perfect for traveling with camera gear in a roll on carry on bag to keep everything safe and also for organizing in a bag

I chose this case for my medium format camera including two camera bodies, two lenses and several accessories. The size is well suited for my use and the adjustable Velcro dividers work well and are sturdy.

I strongly considered a hard shell case as an alternative to this soft shell but the reduced weight consideration overrode the added protection the hard shell would afford.

  18. Roro

Great bag!!!! Works perfect for my 4 lenses and I can travel without a problem with this.

  19. Sunny

I am a Peak bag and accessory addict. Very versatile and stylish.

  20. Itsano4me

Great for storing camera gear in your peak design backpack.

  21. Aust

Excellent quality – I would highly recommend this. Great buy

  22. Zheng

A little bit small for me, and I think it just used too much space inside the travel backpack. Anyway, I was able to fit the R6, RF24-70 f2.8, RF70-200 f2.8(without lens hood), RF35 f1.8, RF85 f2, EF50 f1.8, and EFS10-18 into it.

  23. Tailormade

I liked the size of this case because it is big enough to fit my zoom lens, even if it is attached to the camera, which I was not able to do with my other case.

  24. Zoom

Fits all my camera gear perfectly. Mirrorless body and three huge lenses.

  25. Sufiannoor

Works really well with the peak design travel backpack 45L
Love the easy access and the modular design

  26. BChauhan

Perfect bag to carry your camera gear and keep it protected, different lenses and chargers etc.

I’ve been trying to find something to store/carry my camera equipment. This cube is an excellent solution. I can fit a Sony A7 iii and at least 5-6 lenses and accessories. Peak Design makes smart, thoughtful products and are worth the price.
