The 1st camera battery would not hold a charge. I. I took it back to Best Buy and they ordered me a new camera without any problem.

At first seemed great, all of a sudden it stopped working after just a hand full of times used. Trying to get serviced has been painfully unsuccessful so far. Best buy say talk to Panasonic, Panasonic says go yto best buy or take it to a local licensed Panasonic repair store, there are none in Washington!

I’ve had this camcordrt since last sept and have been using it a lot. Ive been using the camcorder for my sons football games and my daughter kajukenbo events. Its been pretty awesome so far and I have no complaints. I don’t have mivh experience with camcorderd but this has been pretty easy for me to use.

excellent for the price to performance ratio. i have a s21 ultra that i got just incase i see a ufo but it sucks zooming at night time and this when you put in manual mode with night vison enabled works excellent but past 44 times zoom tends to get degraded at night and also use a IR flash light to get the best of it at night time. after having it for some time and getting it for 600$ open box was a mega deal!

Recording in 4K mode, this camera will error after recording more than 9 min using a 512 GB SD card (or higher I’m assuming).
“ERROR OCCURRED, PLEASE TURN UNIT OFF, THEN TURN ON AGAIN”. Upon restart “Repairing Data…Finished”, then recorded file broken “CANNOT PLAY THIS SCENE ON THIS MODEL”.
Tried using both a formatted legit SanDisk Extreme Pro 512 GB and SanDisk Extreme 512 GB with same issue. No issues experienced with a SanDisk Extreme Plus 128 GB card, other than running out of memory mid video. Very disappointing that a 4K camcorder putting out 4-10 GB per video, doesn’t support higher storge cards.
Now I have to spend $60 on video recovery software to salvage my video.

Zoom feature was easy to use. I bought this one over the cheaper one because this one has the feature to put it on a tripod.

I love this camera, it’s very simple to operate and records fantastic 4K footage….the zoom is absolutely amazing on it. It has a WiFi flip screen option , I highly suggest purchasing this camera . Worth every penny. I added a microphone & tripod for my hunting excursions!

This camera will consistently stop recording and crash unexpectedly, even with the AC Adapter connected, regardless of the type of media being used (SD Card, microSD Card, variety of sizes). The only remedy is to remove the battery, which promptly corrupts your video file beyond recovery for editing.
The first time I used it, it stopped recording 1080p around 20 minutes, and I attributed it to my microSD card being too fast? Or too new?
So, I attempted a new recording at 720p with a full SD Card moderately sized (64GB). This time, it would stop recording around 12 minutes.
All recordings corrupted.

This camcorder first released in 2016 still holds up quite nicely. It has pletha of settings to adjust, and allows for steaming the recording via wifi straight to your phone or computer. The battery packs are easily swapped and last a decent amount of time. The only downside I found is that in low light conditions the recording seems choppy when set To 4k but fine if set to a lower resoluton. Overall at the current price point and with its feature set this is a great choice.

I would not recommend this camera for long amounts of film. I used it to film a wedding and in dim light it was very grainy. It also shut down often with an “error” but nothing was wrong. The battery life after charged overnight was only about an hour. The only good thing about this camera was that best buy accepted my return in full with these issues.
