Smooth, quiet and remarkably effectve shave. Highly recommended.

This is the best razor I have owned. Very smooth shave.
Steve –
Not as good as double edged razor but pretty darn close. Light weight and easy to use.

I’d love to test this bc none of these shavers work good. The batteryblife is ussualy good only for a few recharge cycles, the metal starts smelling like wet metal after a few uses even with great cleaning and then.. irritation. I wish I’d find someone to reviw this with some pics of after shave.

Spent some time researching for latest best new electric razors before purchasing the Arc 6. Decided on The Panasonic Arc 6 because it offers 6 sharp premium razors and charging deck with option to fully clean or dry only as well. It does offer as close as smooth close shave both wet/dry when compared to razor shaving. It’s easy to clean with premium feel and the razor cartridge lasts up to 18 months before replacing. Great investment.
Arc6 –
Price too high for the item. Cleaning station should have instructions without need to buy special products. Does not work well for all long hairs if shaving is infrequent, but no electric shaver does.

I’ve been using Panasonic Shavers for many years and this one is a great update to my previous 5 blade one. With my old one i have always had a scratchy area but with this one my face is so smooth. Great value for this price, I’ll definitely recommend this shaver, to anyone using an electric shaver.

My first dry shave was pretty good after not shaving for over 2 days, except I couldn’t target the middle hairs on my neck between the chin & adam’s apple (no amount of passes or directions changed anything); so for people with sensitive skin, tough hairs & longer necks, I strongly advise you to consider other options

Ive owned Panasonic foil shavers since the first one using the magnetic motor….that’s a long time. Ive tried all the other brands but always return to the Arc line. The Arc 6 is an amazing piece of tech and is a beautiful thing to hold. It’s a sculpted work of industrial design which exudes high quality. With this new 6th generation blade system, the shaver removes the typical dual inner cutting blades it’s used for many generations. This means the foil now does all the work. Unfortunately, after comparing it to the previous generation, it just doesn’t seem to be as effective. Its still smooth and floats very well over my face but the lack of inner cutting blades makes it feel less powerful and it takes me longer to get a full smooth face. That being said, its still an amazing shave especially when compared to the competition. The other gripe i have is cost…its quite an expensive purchase and the replacement foils cost as much as other entire shavers…if money is not an issue, this is king of the hill shaver.

I’m a daily shaver and have been wet shaving with a double edged safety razor, brush and soap for the past several years. My last electric was an Arc 4 and was unimpressive.
Dry shaving with the Arc 6 (using Speick pre-electric) takes a quarter of the time as a blade and is often as close or nearly as close as a blade. Wet shaving with the Arc 6 and shaving cream is that much closer. I’ll use Speick or Truefitt & Hill, but you can use anything. The difference is rather than lasting totally smooth (BBS) for 8 – 12 hours, it lasts up to three hours. Then you’re in BBS- to DFS+ territory for many hours.
The Arc 6 easily gets a smooth and comfortable shave under my neck and around the Adams Apple. It shaves through two days of growth without breaking a sweat. I haven’t had the opportunity to test it with more yet.
I’ve also tried a Braun S9 pro. That’s another great electric, but the Arc 6 produces a closer daily shave.
It is expensive for sure, but this is the first electric I’ve owned that can compete with a blade.

This is the best $500 that i have ever spent for a razor hands down if you purchase this you won’t regret it.

I enjoy the Panasonic Arc6 immensely… All works according to plan… The one downside is that the product is a bit expensive…
HowdyE –
Not worth the price, cuts good on the cheek area but very bad at cutting wet in the neck area so end up having to cut dry and its just not as smooth. If i would have known i would pay no more than 300 bucks for it. Worst part is panasonic doesnt even have the replacement heads anywhere so once the time comes for that im gonna have to buy one from sketchy ebay

Worth Every Penny! Finally A Shaver That Competes With The Best of Blades!
SuperCoolNinjaGuy –
I used this foil shaved to only see a glipse of what I looked like 10 years ago. It was like my face used a time machine to wind back the clock to my youth. This is hands down the best foil shaver in the world. I don’t care what these little reviewers show you on some off website trying to get you to use their link to get money. This shaver is hella expensive. Yea and your wondering if its worth the money. But you go back to like holy crap this thing is stupid expensive. Let me tell you it’s worth every dang penny. Your face deserves nothing less…

Panasonic Arc series razors are gorgeous. They work so well. The biggest problem, they have always been heinously expensive. No razor should cost this much. But darn it, they are worth it – the shave is so smooth and so painless, I love these things. My first was an Arc3 more than fifteen years ago.
There is one major issue with these razors – the cleaning / charging station. I’ve had maybe six of the stations (the Arc5 stations are built exactly the same way, except they won’t work with an Arc6), and every single one has died between one and two years old. The pump stops working and, so far, I haven’t found a way to replace the motor. And the station is far too expensive (in the case of the Arc5, it’s only a few dollars more to buy a whole new razor / station than just buying a new station).
For something this amazing, I use the Panasonic cleaning solution, and change it out about once a month. Compared to the cost of a set of foils, the cleaning solution is a good solid investment. Using the cleaning station after every shave will extend the life of the foils by a lot.
This one is just a little better than the Arc5. If you are looking for a bargain, an Arc5 is not a bad second choice. The Arc6 does a closer shave, runs more smoothly, feels better in my hand, and I have less shaving rash.

I love the panasonic shavers. This is the third, and final shaver i will ever buy. I recommend it for any military person who shaves daily.
LorenzoV –
I had high hopes for this in order to justify the price tag, but it fell flat. It takes 5X as long to shave & leaves me with missed hair patches. Tossing in the garbage.
Nick –
I purchased this to replace my Braun that no longer works. I used it twice and was left with terrible razor burn and bumps. My face felt like it had small cuts all over for several days.
MTMT –
Highly recommended, very portable and shaves like a charm. Great for sensitive skin
Awan –
Super cool but also quite expensive. Battery timing is good.
RAD333 –
Worth every penny. Nice clean cut on the face, would recommend this to anyone

I’ve owned several Panasonic shavers in the past and this is definitely the best albeit very pricey.

I’ll try to keep this review short. I had my doubts about electric shavers for several years. People would tell me how they never had “luck” with them. Well I decided to try for myself by purchasing what people are calling the Rolls Royce of electric shavers. I simply wanted to know how close of a shave could I get and how much faster it would be. After the first shave I knew I’d be returning it immediately. More accurately after the first few passes on my face. For reference I shaved on a Friday night using my regular 5 blade disposable Gillette/shaving cream combo. Babyface smooth. I then opted to try the Panasonic Arc 6 on Monday morning to see how low I could shave off the stubble that had grown in. I was pretty disappointed. It basically cut the growth down to about what I had two days after a regular blade shave. And of course I used all the tricks of stretching the skin and changing directions of each stroke. It made no difference. It took alot of diligent effort and I still couldn’t achieve that Babyface smoothness that I’m used to with a disposable razor. In fact since the shaving cream pretty much stays on your skin throughout you have to wipe it off so that you can see the results or use your fingers to “feel” the results through the shaving cream. I intentionally shaved only half of my face and appearance wise there didn’t look like much of a difference in the mirror. Sure it felt “smoother” but I could still feel small stubble that would have been 100% eliminated with a plain razor. So why spend $$$$ only so you can spend more time shaving to only come out with a “meh” level of smoothness. I didn’t even bother trying to shave my head as that tends to be a more time intensive effort anyway. Plus I would have had to go back over my head with a real razor to do it properly. Why waste time and effort when after 48hours the 0.001 whatever inches thats cut with the Arc6 would have easily grown back. Im convinced that the Braun S9 pro likely wouldn’t have done any better. I think these “foil shavers” are for people who really don’t care about having a true clean shave, people who want a non-wet option or people who just want to “flex” with some grooming tech gadget. Oops. Sorry this review ended up being so long. By the way, I have no comment on battery life, ergonomics, build quality or any of that jazz. The cleaning/charging station was cool looking but if the device can’t give me a clean shave then who cares about all that other stuff.
Franky –
Its good but its not worth the upgrade from an arc 5.
AlexRM –
I’ve used multiple electric shavers trying to replace and stop using traditional ones. This one finally did it, clean shave, smooth and fast. The cleaning station is awesome and everything looks stylish.
RameshJ –
This product is excellent I am using this product since Jan6th 2023.

My husband loves his new shaving routine and cleaning stations makes it super easy to keep everything clean.
