This provides a very close shave. I follow the directions daily by washing the razor with soap, rinse, air dry and then add panasonic mineral oil. So far the ability to maintain a close shave has been maintained. The razor’s rechargeable battery lasts about 2 weeks as advertised.

I bought this shaver based on the online reviews. After using it for a few weeks, Im pleasantly surprised with the close shaves Im getting. I still haven’t figured out how to reach underneath my nose with it. Cleaning the razor after every use is extremely easy! I do wish the carrying case was be big enough to accommodate the charger and the razor. Bottom line, i wish I made the switch from a blade razor to and electric razor years ago. Im happy and very please to have made the Panasonic Arc 5 my first electric razor. I completely recommend this model.

This razor was not capable of shaving a growth of 5-7 days, no matter how many times I went over my face. The razor does seem to give a very close shave for growth of just 1-2 days. It was uncomfortably noisy when being used closed to my ears.

What to say about this shaver. It’s quieter than the Arc3 it replaced. It cuts closer and leaves my skin smoother as well. The head is a bit larger and that’s about my only gripe with it.

This works good enough to get a good shave, but I hardly think its worth the money. This slightly outperforms my old phillips electric spinning blade shaver, and that was like 20 dollars. The foil shaver part of it works best with shorter hair, once it gets so long youll have trouble cutting with it. Also it only seems to want to cut on the flattest parts of the face, and it does that well. But trying to shave the neck and less flat areas it really struggles. I usually end up using the flip up trimmer to get those parts. Overall its not terrible, but i feel like this was a waste of money. After having this for a little over a year it is starting to show signs of wear on the trimmer, it gets jammed up and then doesnt move every once in a while. You do have to clean and oil it every single time u use it, and that can be a pain, but it is easy enough. If i could go back, i wouldve just got a cheaper one.

Great features just not the durability I would look for in a razor in this price range. My Norelco has been more consistent and not 1 problem. Wish I would have sent it for service prior to the warranty running out. Instead purchase a different razor and this just sat.
