    My granddaughter used this and had her dash cam installed at a Best Buy in Georgia. They got grease on car seat, broke the screws on the cover to the airbags and destroyed the console.

    A vehicle I purchased did not come with an AC charger. I was able to route through the fuse box and I can now operate the GPS and charge my phones on the trip. I’ve had no issues since the installation. I was on a long trip at the time, and it was important to avoid some routes due to height issues.

    This adapter is a critical part of my vehicle, providing a connection to the stereo to allow Apple CarPlay use and charging capability. It hasn’t failed and I would purchase it again.

    The first review you see is someone stating that ” it’s misleading info” and says it ” 20ft long”. Nowhere does it say that. It says its 1 foot long. I mean even by the picture you can tell the thing is small.

    Definitely buy this . Its so much better. You don’t see the wires and it looks so perfect. They gave me the option of having to plug in my camera connector or it automatically start once the vehicle turns out and it just looks so clean.

    Originally they was going to have me plug the wire from the mirror into the trucks lighter. I paid extra labor to hard wired. Therefore should not have had to pay extra again for a harness that I have no idea were it is hid under the dash!

    Geek Squad Installer recommended this instead of the external sound card someone else recommended getting. This option allows her to still use her USB port because he hard wired it and hid it under the dash.
