This game feels just like the classic games I grew up playing but with so much more. Such a beautiful game and interesting story!
Jeff –
Love it but I wish the story was more cohesive. The game has an excellent battle system. It can seem hard at first but stick with it.
TwistedDaddy –
I didn’t realize when I bought this it has mature content. If you have a young kid, you may want to think twice.
Icarus –
I haven’t made it very far, but the style and the game play are very reminiscent of the old 8 bit rpgs. It is a well put together game and is perfect for any low key gamer who enjoys story.
MomOfTwoInMA –
My son loves this game. It has 16 bit style and is a lot of fun.
KC87 –
Feels just like an old school rpg. Almost like FF6

If you love old school rpgs, this is the game for you.
Thornburgjo –
This is a great RPG! It has the look of the old Final Fantasy games with a little twist on the gameplay.
Benjiha –
One of the literal best switch games out right now. In love with the 8 different characters and their stories. Definitely a must have for Nintendo Switch
Scott –
My brother recommended this game. We played ff3 for SNES a lot when we were kids. It’s plays very similar to that
Zeophantom –
This game is an amazing game, the stories are intertwined and the boss fights are hard when you are not overleveled
CupZ86 –
Great turn based rpg… Only gripe was that I wish each character had an over arching story with one another

This was fun to play.. Brings me back to the Super Nintendo days of RPG’s with much better graphics and sound effects.

Game is reminiscent of the old school games. However this game is very repetitive, and actually kinds drags on. Since I bought it still have not been halfway through the characters story. if you are looking for something to play get it, but there are better Jrpgs out there. Best if you get this game on sale.

I like the game. The visuals are unique. The store and characters are interesting but I wish they merged together better. I find the combat a little to simple, and I wish the equipping menu was designed better. My last gripe is that the text is just too small; I constantly have to use the zoom feature just to play. I’m still glad I got it, but that might be because I got it on sale.

i need to pick this back up again was a great game. just kind of repetitive.

Really liked it just wish I’d had known you have to level up all the characters for the final boss.

Harkens back to the SNES days, the console which ruled when it came to RPGs.
Michael –
Excellent game with cool old school graphics redo in a modern, 3D style that is really easy on the eyes. If you enjoy Japanese RPG you will really love playing this. The combat system is very cool.
AJnow –
Excellent RPG. Have enjoyed my time with it and would recommend to others.

This game was a LOT of fun. It was a long game, but you follow stories from eight different party members and each of the stories is really intriguing and makes you want to find out what happens next.
Battle is old school turn based, but they throw in a mechanic where you can build up stronger attacks after each turn.
The views are amazing – it’s pixel graphics but the backdrops look fantastic.
The music is captivating too. Each area and town has its own score and is very pleasant.
I had a blast with this game.

It is like old school final fantasy with turn base fighting. Absolutely love it!!! Highly recommend!

Octapath travelers has to be one of the most satisfying strategic and fascinating game I’ve played in a while. It is amazing. The storyline is addictive. Each character you play is just as magical as the first and you get so attached to your characters it’s brilliant

An amazing JRPG from Square that goes back to its roots. The story and gameplay are wonderful, and the graphics are really nice as well.
