    We purchased the protective covers after discovering one of our cords had started to fray at the connection point. After ordering three new 6’ cords we always wished we had, we ordered the covers to protect our new purchases. Color coding the cords with the multicolored cord protectors was an added bonus.

    These are just okay. I wanted them for extra support on the USB end of the cable. But the width of the tool thingie that stretches the cap isn’t wide enough, so I had to MacGuyver it to work.

    These are a bit more costly and few than I would like, but I am happy with the results. They even include a pliers to stretch them onto cables. It’s just a few and just a few colors, but it helps me differentiate between a lot of cables I keep handy for guests and my own gadgets.

    These CordCollar cable protectors are the best! They keep the weak point of the cord connections protected and prevent the wear and tear that leads to the plastic cord cover falling apart.

    I was told by a BB employee that this would work on all of my cords. However, I couldn’t even get one cordcollar on ANY of our cords.
    Ended up throwing the entire package away. Pure waste of time and money.

    I have 2 children that have ruined EVERY charger we have had. These have saved our cords from cracking the cord around the connector. They come on fun colors so I can color coordinate my kids charging cords (mainly so they don’t fight over the chargers) they are also fairly easy to put on, they come with an applicator and the instructions are easy to use. 10/10 will purchase more in the future.

    ** side note the only issue I ran into was the new apple cords done have the lip, there for I had to put these on over the connector a little bit so that it would stay on and not just fall down the cord but still works marvelously.

    I bought these to help my wife keep track of her cords. It also helps to strengthen the stress point of the joint from cord to USB plug. It comes with an expansion tool that stretches the collar to make it fit over different types of adapters and is simple to use.
