    Straightforward item that only Switch owners should find relevant to have. This replaced a joycon with a broken analog stick after three years of weekly use. These controllers have multiple functions, and one of them is allowing the portable use of a Switch. This versatile functionality is what gives them an edge over third-party products. The gyroscope or physical compatibility with certain games (Switch Sports and Just Dance) just cannot be matched.

    If those do not apply to you, I would recommend buying a cheaper and more standard shaped controller to avoid paying a premium for unnecessary additional features.

    My original joycon for my Switch stopped connecting correctly and no one could figure out why. This was a great quick replacement and I’ve not had any issue with it since.

    My son dropped his switch in just the right way that it broke the R button. When I took it apart, I noticed the tiny button had broken clean off the PCB on the inside. There was no way I could fix this. Anyway, This replacement was perfect and I almost forgot that it’s not the original.

    This is the third set of controllers I’ve had to buy for my son’s switch since getting it when it first came out. It works as expected, just wish they had better longevity. I’ve still got my Gameboy from the 80’s and it’s still going strong. They don’t make things like they used to. However, the controller works… For now.

    Excellent purchase! We’ve bought all the latest and greatest approved controllers for the switch. All have failed, stop working correctly.
    Two smaller boys use it so not surprising. However the original controllers last years longer and never have connectivity issues. So worth the extra $! I won’t be purchasing any more controllers not built by Nintendo.
    That’s my final two cents.
