At this price , it’s a fantastic deal. Very good sharpness and fast!

I replaced my 35mm f1.8 with this lens, and paired it up to the Nikon Z50. It’s a very impressive lens and is a great addition to the crop-sensor Z50, making it a 42mm lens when assuming the 1.5x crop factor.
It’s super sharp, lightweight, and has amazing “bokeh” at f2.8. The colors are spot-on, too…very impressed!

Best all around light/short lens for quick takes. Travel ready. I am just getting back into photography. Experimenting with different lens is fun. Just need to budget accordingly. Best Buy has been a good shopping experience for Nikon gear.

Great quality lens from Nikon at an affordable price. Have no complaints.

I have both this lens and the 40mm f/2, and the both take phenomenal photos. I like this one for the wider field of view it gives when taking photos indoors or in confined spaces outside. The lens is also very nice for videography and makes balancing the camera on a gimbal super simple.

We recently bought the Nikon Z FC and this lense is a great addition to it.

This is a great lens to have in your bag! Small and sharp and good for both my Z 7 and my Z 50. Autofocus is speedy.

Got this lens to use it with my Z 30 for street photography and black & white photos and I’m happy with results .It’s good for all indoor and food/small objects photos as well .Performed fine while taking shot and videos walking in a forest but if you are interested in landscape and open space photography like kids playing in a backyard this lens is not what you want to buy . More direct sunlight it worst it gets . I have 40 mm f/2 too . It’s a little better but for general photography buy DX 18-140 mm f/3.5-6.3 .Although for me it’s a keeper .

Being a prime lens, it has its limitations but its hard to complain avout it at the price.

disappointed…I do mostly macro work and this lens is NOT for macro work. the closer you get, the more it hunts. If you use this lens on a Z camera, you have to download software to make it compatible with your camera and you download by tethering your camera to your computer. Another strike against it. Wound up putting a 16-50 DX lens on a Z and captured a much better image. And to think this lens is a 2.8 and can’t hold a candle to a 3.5
Now for the return action. And I have to tell you this.
I bought this lens at the Edgewood Best Buy. Well let me tell you that the customer service at returns there SUCKS!! Having worked in a customer service environment, I can tell you that there was NO customer focus and rather than mince words with the two associates at the service desk, I just left and hope not to ever return to that store. :o(

Perfect focal length for video recording on the Nikon Z7ii. The focus is smooth and silent.

Perfect for all situations honestly. I took it to disneyland and used it exclusively. Made super sharp in great lighting just as a lens should be. Plenty fast.

Fantastic budget lens. Great for landscapes and is quick in spite of the price. Love this lens

A very handy lens that I have been using both indoor and outdoors. At this price point you won’t regret having it.
