    Will be returning, great quality and I like the fact that it records audio while driving, just keep shutting off in my car which is auto shut off at the light. The rear camera is on a magnetic ball so it can come off especially if getting a hand car wash(inside)

    Works fine bought with 622 w latest dashcam they have plug and play, you will see it once connected on your dash cam, there will be a small rectangle on your main screen of the view at back of your car. Please read the instruction to connect, tricky sometimes to get it done by yourself.

    Better than the only other option, a USB telephoto 30° cam, which cut down resolution on our new 622GW 4k to 1080p, in addition to complicating finding the best view for both rear and forward cams (since they cannot be aimed independently), like this dedicated rear facing camera allows.

    This is the better choice of the two equally priced options, hands down imo!

    The camera moves continuously and doesn’t stay the way it was pointing. The magnetic mount has no way to keep it still. Gets easily knocked off.

    Initially worried about length of cable as I drive a crew cab pickup, however cable was more than adequate. Great all around quality.

    We did not get to use this camera. We were informed by the Best Buy installer that this rear camera would not mount in a 2017 Nissan Rogue. He assisted with returning the camera and getting us a Thinkware camera that would fit int a Nissan Rogue.

    I bought this item as a package deal with the Nextbase 622 dashcam, memory card/case and the hardwire kit. I like that I can record the rear of my car and that it gets saved in to 2 different videos (1 front and 1 rear). The image is good, luckily I haven’t had to use the rear videos. I try and review them to see if it can read plates, so far it has been able to if they are near the car.

    I’m sure this is a good camera, but the main Nextbase dash cam it plugs into needs some updates. The dash cam doesn’t accept an cabin rear facing camera in addition to this rear window mounted rear facing camera. I bought both the cabin and rear window version to get greater coverage without realizing the main Nextbase camera only accepts one or the other.

    Live in CA,has the dubious honor of some of the worst drivers in the US. Acquired the camera to support statements in the unfortunate event of an accident. Purchased the rearview camera as well. There is a general tendency for high-speed tailgaters on our freeways. The use of the dash camera gives driver a sense of support and verification of events in the event of a dispute.

    Bought this rearcam for my nextbase dash cam and its wonderful. The view is clear and crisp, There’s enough wiring to probably go around my car twice. The sticky pad wasn’t sticking in the beginning and the camera kept falling but after about an hour it stuck properly and hasn’t moved. Overall excellent product.

    Very nice addition to my Dash Cam set up. Got it professionally installed by a local expert & hard wired the 522 to my ignition.

    Note that live view on the 522 doesn’t work with cellular data on (very annoying)!

    I now have owned a NextBase 622gw for almost a year now. Been on several road trips and I must say I still like the camera. Clear picture, easy to setup. I purchased the camera, the rear facing camera and a cable so that I could hook the camera directly to car power. With constant power, the camera has additional features while you are parked. I decided to only use power while the ignition was on because running the power cable directly to the fuse box was more than I wanted to tackle. I have a Lexus RX350 and found “Dongar Technologies” sells an adapter to tap into the power to my rearview mirror. Easy to install in a few minutes. No more visible cables or plugged into the cigarette lighter. Also purchase a decent micro SD card, fast write. I purchased a card V60 XCII, bit of an overkill but it works. In addition, I went to NextBase web site and purchased a couple extra double-sided mounts to stick to the glass. While they hold to the glass very well, they do not do so good with the plastic mount, started to separate in the Texas sun. I use a Windows PC, the application from NextBase is decent and easily to use. Nice to see the data shown when you play the videos on your PC, speed (forces applied during acceleration, braking, left and right turn) plus a map of where you are driving. The phone app (iPhone in my case) is easy to use and connect to the device. I can download selected videos to my phone if needed. The video quality is pretty good, pleased with day and night. It is a bit pricey, but I have found it performs much better than the less expensive cameras. Still one day would like to run the cable to constant power.

    Am extra layer of of worryless have tje back of your vehicle as well as yours covered. On days in which the main cause of daralities are those caused during traffic accidenta, this little cameea has your nack covered for evential potential legal issues after a collision. I will also say your back is also covered if you get pulled over by Mr. bad intended officer because it records everything, it can tell if you committed or not wjatever is the reason they claims for their pull over.

    Overall the camera works fine. What didnt work is the fact that the double sided tape is not strong enough. I had to buy my own tape online to stick it back on once the original tape stopped working and lost most of its stickiness

    Easy to mount, Quality is great. – Definitely something to add if you have a NextBase camera.

    Wiring kit was easy to work with and route. Mount stuck nicely to my window and magnetic ball/mount works great and is very flexible.
