    No online access to video. camera is heavy for the sticky. with in six months I have to replace the sticky part.

    My first review has been deleted. I purchased this camera and SD card and installed it. It worked ok for a few days and then stopped turning on. I did all of the troubleshooting and decided to hardwire it in case it was my cigarette outlet not working. The hardwire kit didn’t have the correct fuse tap. I got a different fuse and decided to go to an auto shop and let them hardwire it. I got a call that the camera itself was defective and it was an internal issue with the camera. I had them install a different camera (Pioneer- works great). Now I’m out about $200 because Best Buy won’t take it back because it’s past the return window and NextBase won’t do anything because it wasn’t purchased through them. Their customer service has been wildly unhelpful. We’ll see if this review gets deleted.

    TL;DR: Buy literally any other dash cam other than this one. I’m out $200 because it doesn’t work.

    I was gifted this camera 2 yrs ago. 2 yrs to the date it stopped working. I contacted Nextbase but they where useless. I do not recommend this products

    I like the idea of this, but it was a bit of a challenge to get it set up and working properly. When I originally installed it, the front camera wasn’t connecting with the rear camera. It was only when I de-installed it (and plugged it into a new 9V power source) that it all started to work as advertised.

    I’m also annoyed at the way they push their own 68-gig micro SD card. It’s ridiculously expensive, and really no different than SD cards (like Lexar’s) that are a tenth the price.

    Easy to install and easy to use! Sometimes back camera is glitchy (looks like a purple filter is over the image) but it corrects each time. Makes me feel more comfortable that I can hold bad drivers accountable in case of an accident.

    Excellent product with an easy install! Just make sure you plug in the rear camera with the wire facing upward to ensure rear camera operation. This camera has a great video quality and even captures audio. It truly comes in handy in the case of an auto accident.

    Clarity of the camera is good, but there is no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capability, so the app is obsolete. You cannot download anything to your phone and recordings Don’t always happen so if you need a recording from an accident. Don’t expect it to be there

    Works great and easy to setup. Make sure you buy the hardwire kit. The camera will work with the car on and off. Your insurance provider will thank you and maybe give a discount.

    I bought This Dash cam because I wanted to transfer the video file wireless from the Dash cam to my cell but the app does not connect all. So, It does not work as advertised. I normally don’t like to give less than 5 start. I have this dash cam installed at bestbuy.

    Excited to have a dash cam since I’ve been hit and injured and have two Volvos totaled by inattentive and drunk/high drivers, I wanted something easy to use, powers up when I start my car, powers down when I turn it off, and is easy to save video or take a quick pic. This is a small unit with a good image quality on the front facing camera (I didn’t install the rear camera because of the configuration of my rear windshield), but it is far from easy to use. The box does not include a manual, but the QR code provided is supposed to link to an online manual for this particular camera. Unfortunately it does not link to a manual for the correct model. The instructions are useless since this 320XR is NOT a touchscreen camera and does not connect to an app…and all the instructions guide the user through setting up a touch screen camera with a related app. So that was a dead end. I searched the web for, and eventually found, an install and operation manual which was okay, but tiny print and not really intuitive. I got the camera set up eventually, and the cabling all hidden. However, the angle of my windshield and the lack of adjustability of the mount means I can barely see the road ahead of me with the camera, no matter how much I try and reposition or adjust. Also, every time I start my car, I have to set up the camera again!!! I have to set time, date etc before the camera will operate. So this is useless unless I’ve got time to go through setup every time I start my car.

    This is going back today and I’ll get the Garmin I bought my son for his car…he loves it and it does everything I need I to do, including Bluetooth link to my phone.

    It was fine while it worked. Now the rear camera is giving me a pink screen and Nextbase warranty’s only option is to completely uninstall the entire system (including cables) and send it back to them for “inspection”. Then they will send me a refurbished unit that I will have to pay to have installed again. Research shows that it is a known problem with this unit. I wish I had bought something else.

    Bought a vehicle recently and needed a dash cam to be my extra set of eyes and ears for the road. This Nextbase camera package fit the bill. I prefer dashcam setups to have both front and rear view capabilities and this model does the job. Alternatively, the auxiliary camera can be used to record interior views. I purchased the max size micro SD card and set up the camera. The rear magnet was a little tricky but I used a dab of automotive adhesive tape to keep the rear camera steady and at the capture angle I desired. Be sure to look into the hardwire kit for a seamless install.

    I’ve had this camera in my car less than a year and the rear view camera is recording in purple. Nextbase customer support said that it was because the connection to the main front facing camera was loose (it wasn’t loose) and when the problem didn’t resolve itself they said I needed to update the camera’s firmware. When I did that I get an “SD card error” message. I reached out to them on December 28, 2023 and have yet to hear back from them about how to resolve this issue.

    All in all i like it. My primary complaint is that the description said it “motion detection,” which is why I purchased it.
    It is not motion activated, it is a knock sensor and will only record from off when it detects an impact.

    I checked out quite a few dash cams as a gift for my daughter who was in a 5 car accident on the highway recently. I read a lot of reviews and this one seemed to be the over-all pick for price and features combined with ease of use.
