    Nice machine. Very different ice making process from cheaper round non-clear nugget makers. Love the end result / ice this machine makes. A bit small/narrow ice holding area due to larger ice generation area.

    Don’t especially like the open waterfall area that actually makes the ice. You can easily touch the constantly falling water when scooping out ice. Cubes don’t break apart from each other either when they fall. You need to have a metal scoop ready to break up the fallen ice (a bit inconvenient).

    So easy to use . Can be placed any were. Creates great ice pretty fast. If you give it about a 30 minute head start it can keep up with the best party’s… hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

    It’s great makes ice with in 15 mins and I love it the only compliant is that it brings a scooper and the ice comes out like a double chocolate bar so the scoop is never used

    We purchased this ice maker for our lake house. Visitors always drop by. It sets on top of any table and plugs directly into an electric socket. The cubes are small and we make several batches at a time and place in freezer. It is simple to use. Do not expect the cubes to be large and solid like they would be from a refrigerator icemaker. Easy to use, easy to clean and well made.

    This piece of JUNK arrived with brown-looking water stains where it had been used!!! Looks like a backer spit in it!! No packaging at all!! It has scratches all over it!! Something nasty wiped all over it!! No manual. I hooked it up anyway, & water comes out more than ice! & It doesn’t freeze well it melts!

    Great ice maker for the price but as all the other reviews, you have to break the small cubes in the tray. One great thing about this is that it continues to re-circulate the water when the ice melts inside, so the need to constantly clean out water and re-fill is not needed if you don’t use it frequently.

    Its a nice cooler. I bought one before with lover capacity but softer ice, then bought this one. Higher volune, but harder ice. I used both and like both for different reasons. The clear ice one makes ice faster but the pump runs the water constantly untill the ice tray is full

    We love Best Buy. Our first one we ordered did not work. Best Buy sent a replacement and it works great. All the ice we will ever need. I wish the drain had a tube though. I’m not sure how to clean the insides; maybe YouTube can help.

    I’ve been using this for about a week now and my whole family loves it. We have a reverse osmosis system and use that water for filling the tank which produces crystal clear ice with no bad flavor. It produces so much ice that we bag it up and throw it in the freezer. My $3000 KitchenAid refrigerator icemaker sucks in comparison and can’t produce enough ice So I turned it off and fill it with ice from the ice machine. It’s so easy to use and fast to produce ice

    Overall pretty good! Silent and fits well in a kitchen or bar. Only complaint is storage is a little small, but other than that great product.

    The one that I received was not able to make any ice it did do a first one but then it never made any afterwards. I turned it off and tried again but it only let the water flow down and do nothing else. So pretty disappointed.

    I’m actually an ice fanatic and I absolutely love this clear ice machine. I originally was skeptical about the units claims of amount of ice it makes but it is spot on. I have taken it in our RV for ice production rather than using the onboard refrigerator ice maker with the potable water source. We use gallons of bottled water and it rocks!!! If I had one change to make this the ultimate ice maker … I would somehow use the onboard compressor to freeze the compartment that stored the ice to make it last longer rather than meltdown and remake ice.

    Love this ice maker. We have had numerous ones and they did not last. When this one arrived about the fourth day it started making a horrible sound. We thought we would have to return it. However, the noise stopped and is making good ice. When first turned on the ice cubes are full. As the tray fills the cubes are not as full but the ice is hard. This ice machine is much better than the bullets the other machines make daily. I would purchase this machine again.

  28. Damaged –

    Ice maker works good and was delivered fast but has a dimple in the front bottom corner. It was well packed with styrofoam and plastic corner protectors. It must have taken a significant hit because the plastic was cracked. The box wasn’t punctured so I’m guessing it was dropped on the corner. I’d still recommend buying the item as it works great just unhappy with however it was damaged!

    Since I have a relatively new Samsung refrigerator I don’t have a working icemaker and had no choice but to go countertop. I am so happy I did! This thing makes so much ice so fast that I have ran out of bags and freezer space.

    Pros: As much ice as you can store very quickly, not crazy loud, easy to refill water

    Cons: Ice needs to be broken after it’s made, occasionally new ice wedges in collection tray and trips full tray shut off when it’s not actually full.

    I will never go back to only using a built in icemaker again, highly recommended.

    I have owned 2 made by Igloo both died within the year they made ice ok but nothing like this one. This machine makes ice quickly and the ice melts slowly. The wife now wants one for the kitchen I have this one in the man cave and love it.

    We picked tbis up about a month avo and i wanted to wait to give an accurate review. So far we are extremely pleased with this clear ice maker. We decided to used bottled water instead of tap and so far we have had great savings compared to buying bags of ice. Yes you have to break up the ice when its ready but its very simple. We normally fill a bin in oir freezer and i prefer to get it straight from the maker. It doesn’t take up a lot of space on our counter top and runs quiet.
    I would recomend this to anyo e who asks.

    I did not like this ice maker at first, then I said to myself give it a chance, it does what it says it’s going to do, I need a nice maker to make ice for my cooler, in six to eight hours it will make 40 lb of ice easy, would highly recommend, this is not a ice maker for drinks, it’s a perfect ice maker for your cooler!

    Ice isn’t clear and melts extremely quickly. Bottom line if you put the ice in a cooler it will all melt in about an hour.

    This icemaker makes a lot of nice clear ice. We took it camping last week and it kept our cups and cooler filled. It looks nice on the countertop. Because it is so heavy it stays put on the RV countertop wile traveling.

    It’s quiet, quick and the ice is the perfect size. Perfect for making bins of ice to keep in freezer while having the machine as backup ice.

    Lasted about 3 weeks until the ice started building up and would never release into the bin. I ended up with a block of ice requiring the appliance to be unplugged and thawed. NewAir support suggests leaving it unplugged for 24 hours and “resetting” it. Unfortunately this did not resolve the problem and I just went back to the trusty fridge ice maker. It may be slow, and it may not be clear, but it makes ice and at the end of the day, that’s the only goal here!
