This is by far my childs favorite game. Its not about battling pokemon but simply taking their photos in their environment
It teaches an actual great deal about composition and timing to get the best photos. Highly reccomend!
Ddickson –
Fun and easy for all ages to play. Ideal for people who like photography and/or Pokémon
Ryan –
Excellent reboot of the Pokemon Snap game from Nintendo 64. Lots of the same fun mechanics and gameplay with a more modern twist and nice additions to keep the game fresh.

If you wanted more of the original, here it is. Relaxing trip down memory lane with a little more depth and a welcome graphical upgrade. Can be repetitive, but addicting trying to outdo yourself with the photos you take. Overall a chill, fun time. Nothing revolutionary, but no real complaints which says more than most AAA games.
Cathy –
The game is a nice throwback to the old game. The only thing is it requires a lot of memory to store the pictures you take. You will probably need an extra SD card for this game. Otherwise, I highly suggest this game.
MrE1 –
Nostalgia doesn’t even begin to describe this game and the experience it brings back. Much better dynamics and overall gameplay, well done Nintendo.
bbking –
I freaking love this it doesn’t compare to the original but it is awesome lots and lots of game play

I saw a lot of people get excited about this over nostalgia. I’m not sure if I’m in the minority, but even though I just turned 30, I never played this game when I was little. Not sure if it’s due to the lack of nostalgic fondness, I found this game quite boring. Watching pokemons in their “habitats” was cute, but there are so many far more exciting $60 games out there. I regretted buying this game, because I spent maybe 5 hours playing it and now I’m already bored and don’t want to keep going again.
Streamer –
Good, but gets boring fast. Definitely a nostalgia game or game for kids. The graphics are beautiful, though!
Doldt –
Brings me back to N64 days, loving it. Graphics and gameplay are superb

My 4 year old daughter loves this game, and it wasn’t too difficult for her to get the hang of.
Mistfur –
Amazing game wonderful adventure and amazing visuals
MrBlonde –
A fun relaxing game, but you can tell that more could have been put into it. But it gives you what you ask for.
GamerC –
Love all the new mechanics, it goes beyond the scope of the original game.
PMoh –
This product is cool, I am writing this review for the points.
Turtlor –
It’s a very grind-y game but it’s still at its core a solid Pokémon Snap experience. Very cute and chill.
Earl –
Modern day nostalgia for with lots of extra to do from the original
Dustwalker14 –
Digital delivery speed was excellent. Great sequel to the original. Enough added to keep you interested, bit not a ton of unnecessary fluff.
ZarH –
Fun little game, probably should be a 40 dollar title though. The way photos are graded makes little sense.
CrazyEights –
Was not what I expected. I only played for 20 minutes. Just not as involved I expected it to be.
Isotope –
One of the most relaxing and entertaining games I’ve played in awhile. Watching the Pokémon interact with their environment and each other naturally is an absolute delight and the best part of the game. My biggest concern was playtime, but the game surprised me with far more content than I was expecting, and it never felt like I was grinding or wasting my time when I was working towards progression.
MamaKy –
The 4 stars is only because the game could have been longer. I finished in less than 24 hours of play. Though that doesn’t stop me from loving it almost as much as the N64 original
XboxFan –
Pretty fun game. If you liked the N64 pokemon snap you’ll love this one.

Thanks to everything having to be nostalgia up the bum in order to appeal to mass audiences I think we’re at the point where people are realizing “hey I guess that thing I loved wasn’t as great as I remember” & changing the graphics shouldn’t be what companies do to appeal to us. I played this, liked it some, rang some bells, took some pics then finished the first level. Then they make you do it again, no option to move forward or explore as you want or play at your pace “you take the photos & you take em good! Or else you go back on the ride!”
Josephoaks –
Great game! I’ve been waiting years for a new Pokémon snap game! I was nervous hoping it would live up to my high nostalgic filled expectations and this definitely lived up to it! I loved and enjoyed this game so much! Its a must buy for all Pokémon fans!
Jaybo –
The nostalgia that this game brings of the OG Pokemon Snap for the N64 is just phenomenal. It starts to get a little complicated down the line, but once you get the hang of the unlocked mechanics it’s just a matter of getting the perfect shots
Repairs –
Fun, cute and family friendly. My oldest son did find it a little bit too simple and wishes there were more activities.
Manny –
Great throwback to my childhood. My kids love it, but were demoralized with all of the back and forth from the lab after the trips.
The graphics are refreshing. Fun to see the Pokemon I love in a new light! Getting some rare shots is always exciting and it’s pretty cool we can save the photos and share them to our phones.
As I mentioned earlier, the back and forth from the lab is a little annoying. If you don’t go back and do certain things, you won’t unlock other aspects of the game. So definitely not something smaller kids like mine (6 y/o) enjoyed.
However, the game is a great little treat for any Pokemon fans to just sit back, relax and enjoy the view taking some photos. Not much more to it.
xddasxd –
Super fun and nostalgic. There’s a lot of repetition in some areas but it’s well worth it. There’s a lot to see.

Pokemon Snap is back – Ohhhh SNAP! Loved the N64 version; and this version is pretty great too.
Funfunfun –
Lots of fun. Reminds me of the original. More like a sister than a twin or a daughter.
BadAtGames –
This is good fun. The game feels short with how much fun you’ll be getting out of it. Excellent update on the original concept. Plenty of fun moments to capture, Get snapping some pokemon.
Jayy –
This game is a near perfect remake/reimagining of the original from the 90’s.
Gaming –
I got this game for my children 7 and 5. Well, I play
Pokemon Snap ore then they do.
Yepyep –
One of the best nostalgic games that Nintendo could’ve brought for us. If you ever played the N64, this one is a must have.
Alexis26 –
Lovely cute game. It’s great nostalgia for my husband, and the visuals are beautiful. Fun to go back to routes to get better rated pictures.
Damian –
This game is a blast and the pictures you take can go right on social media, it’s what you expect although I wish progression were faster at times as I didn’t love having to redo the same areas early on.
Sally –
I bought this based on sheer nostalgia and it did not disappoint! Obviously it’s better now with the graphics being so much better, but the game itself is just like the original.
bri5454 –
I didn’t really like this game at all. It doesn’t let you advance as much as you should.
Lucas –
What a great game! So adorable and muchpre content than i would have imagined
Aimelessonee –
Easy to download. Great game, but hard for new readers to keep up with.
JesusE –
Great birthday present for my wife, she loves playing Pokemon snap as she’s an actual photographer lol.
SolidusRed –
It’s an alright game. Not my favorite but I gave it a chance. If you like pokemon without the battle aspect this might interest you.
