    The feedback loop of this game is very satisfying. Pick a creature. Gear up. Find it. Fight it. Use what you collect to improve your gear so you can hunt bigger prey. But not for the impatient.

    It was the first Monster Hunter game to release on the Xbox and it does not disappoint. This game continues to release new content. Really enjoyable.

    Son in law loves it. Hes wanted it for a while now and was very please to get it for Christmas.

    My son plays this game. He like it okay, it’s just not one of his favorites. It looks good, but the open world is a little too open. He’d like a little more direction on what objectives to achieve and why they are important. I think he enjoys Divinity: Original Sin quite a bit more. That comparison is a bit apples and oranges since DOS is turn-based, but the interactions and story progress just seem better in that game.

    Immersive, spraling locales. Beautiful environments. Tons of weapon and armor choices. Great monster battles. This game is fantastic. Explore wide open environments use terrain to your advantage, and battle gigantic monsters. Use parts from the monsters to create weopons and armour to enhance your abilties and fight more dificult monsters.

    Love the visuals and the gameplay takes a bit getting uset to if you’re coming in knowing rises controls. It’s not for me but it’s another one for the collection. The cd arrived loose and scratched so that was depressing…the game came late even though I paid to have faster shipping.

    10/10 5 Stars….. Of all the monster hunter games, this was the best one of them all. I myself have played many of the other games in this franchise. World has a completely different vibe to it but it is so well done!!!! Very good game, HIghly recommend.
