Bought for my kids so we could go camping. Great product for general use. We even use them around the house. I only had a random stranger chime in once and we switched to a new channel and never had a problem again. Awesome!!!!!!!! Range is lovely as well. Open fields get even further distance.

BEWARE: The radios themselves are probably good. However, these are NOT GMRS radios. This means that they DO NOT have the most powerful transmitters in the Midland X-Talker product line. These ARE FRS ONLY. I bought them expressly because I wanted the most powerful non-commercial radios that Midland sells. The range for the FRS radios IS NOT as far as a GMRS radio. Consider yourself warned.

I enjoy being able to talk to my husband in a different vehicle when we go on the road. Radios work well. Would be 5 star but there is no way to confirm that the radios are charging. No lights , whistles, or beeps, nothing.

I could barely get reception the next street over in my neighborhood. I have no tall buildings, just a normal everyday housing neighborhood. When I got within range to where there was no static or break up the walkie talkies gave a bunch of feedback acting as if I was in the same room communicating with someone.

We needed a baby monitor, but who wants to just buy some boring baby monitor? We also camp a lot and have 10 acres, so being able to communicate is pretty convenient. We don’t always have cell service when we are camping and using these is actually a lot faster than using the phone. Great value for everything you are getting. Very durable and reliable product with a lot of very useful features. The VOX function is sensitive enough to use as a baby monitor, so get something fun instead of some boring old baby monitor!

Product was great! The only complaint I had was they sent me an email to let me know it was in. If they would have called me I could have picked it up that day. I don’t look at my emails all day long and they close at 8:00 pm. Email was sent mid afternoon and I was at Comcast at that time about half a mile away paying a bill.
