My original one worked great. At some point my surface stopped reacting to the original. I troubleshot to no avail so I purchased a new keyboard. The keyboard didnt work so I ended up just getting a wireless one.

The keyboard feels and works great. The materials used for the cover get worn after a few years though. It get a sticky residue on the edge of the keyboard after a few years. I had to replace the typecover on my Surface Pro 4 and now for my Surface Pro 7. Other than that I would give this 5 stars

This was the nice upgrade and easy connection to my surface pro 7. I wasn’t sure since keyboard stopped working and has a battery in it that gave up. I like my old surface pro but haven used in since battery gave up a year ago. Best Buy had item available same day and worked out .
