    Never go for the new items if you can get an refurbished from Best Buy or an Open Box. Better pricing for the same quality and service as a brand new.

    I finally gave in and purchased a new console and went with the refurbished Xbox One 500gb. I have to say the console itself is very sleek and looks nice just as it sits there on my tv console. The graphics are great on games and setting up all my favorite apps like HBO go and Netflix and Amazon Prime Video were all fairly simple. I was hesitant to purchase a refurbished version of the console but bestbuy offers a 2 year warranty where if anything goes wrong with the console they will give you a new one. So overall I think it’s a great purchase that is well worth the money.

    Great games and a decent Blu Ray player, what more do you need… Maybe an external drive for storage then your set.

    Seems Microsoft just wants as many people that they can get online. Xbox one needs to be online to set up, sign in to profile every game and to allow you to watch a blue ray. Xbox 360 can do both and I gave a limited Internet connection. Thank you Microsoft thank you.

    My roommate and I got this to play Halo and CoD. Plays great and don’t have any problems except one. When trying to install GTA, the installation would stop. Had to look up troubleshooting online and jump through a series of hoops to fix it.

    I really only use it for streaming Netflix, Hulu, CW and Prime Movies.
    Works great for 4K movies also.

    Went during Black Friday to get a new Xbox. Ended up grabbing this by mistake and Best Buy employee didn’t bother to mention why would I be spending 40$ extra on a refurbed Xbox rather than getting a new one. Rather salty. But it works I guess

    Many games require online gaming to play multiplayer. It was really frustrating on christmas day that we couldn’t let our 3 boys play split screen like they had on their xbox 360. We had no desire to pay for online gaming when we had 3 kids in the same room that could play IRL. We went to gamestop to purchase a few more games that allowed more players without paying for an unnecessary expense. I am sure the more multiplayers games we find (that our kids like) will improve the gaming experience.

    Bought this for my daughter as she was the only one of my kids who didn’t have an Xbox One, but didn’t want to pay the cost of a brand new one. Worked fine when we first set it up. Shortly after it stopped letting her play games she inserted in it. It wouldn’t register that they were even there. We had to completely reboot the system. That was a couple of months ago and since then it has worked fine.
