    Perfect fit… a lot better doing it yourself then having a reputable company install your system charging you for said installed products but instead ripped of your oem speaker and used the adapter it was in by 2 drywall screws. Unbelievable it’s still being done . That’s why you can’t trust ships anymore.

    NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I GOT THEM ON DEC-14. ZND WHEN I WENT TO TO THE STROUDBERG, WHERE I BROUGHT THEM. THE MANAGER TOLD ME THE PERSON WHO INSTALLS THEM IS OUT AND THEY DON’T KNOW IF HE’S COMING BACK. SO THE MANAGER SAID THE WHITEHALL STORE. THAT MEANS I HAVE TO TRAVEL BOTH WAYS 120- MILES. THEY TOOK THEM BACK. BUT AFTER WHAT I WENT THRU, THEY SHOULD HAD MADE IT UP TO ME.

    My son said he was able to use these to install his new speakers in the back doors of his 2014 crew cab Chevy without issue.

    These matched up fine to my 2007 Silverado back doors, however, I had to also install some weather stripping between the door frame an the plates to make them fit snug; otherwise, they would rattle when I opened or closed the door as well as while driving.

    First the description says they are made out of metal but they are plastic, which is better anyways but nonetheless. Also the picture shows what looks like 2 brackets and 2 gaskets maybe? But it only came with 2 brackets. The 6.5 inch focals that I was installing in the front doors of my Silverado wouldn’t fit correctly in the bracket because of some tabs that blocked the speaker from setting evenly on the bracket so I had to fabricate them slightly in order for the speakers to fit.
