    Well the Best Buy installer kept trying to install the speakers in the door without the mounts. But the magnets were hitting the window, in the door. He tried using washers, as spacers, but then discovered he didn’t have bolts long enough to mount them then. Said he couldn’t install them. So i left, without my new speakers getting installed, because the professional installer said it couldn’t be done. Got home, called my friend, funny thing. After looking at the bag of parts, that came with the speakers, used the speaker mounts and had them installed in a couple hours. Mounts worked great, but beware if you have Best Buy install yours

    WRONG! Says fits Toyota 2002 & up. Specifically, 2007-2014 Tundra, front 6”x9” door speakers. No it does not. I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra with 6”x9” front door speakers & these didn’t even come close to fitting properly. Correct shape, but too large to fit.

    They didn’t line up to the factory holes, but made it work and they kept the speakers secure. Installed in a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Crew Cab.

    Not sure what Toyota these are meant to fit but it didn’t fit a 2007 Yaris properly. 2 of the holes for mounting to the car lined up. One was off by about a quarter inch. I was able to elongate the mounting hole to make that line up. The last hole wasn’t even close to being in the right spot, so I mounted with only 3 factory screws.

    Then when mounting the speaker to the adapter only 2 of the holes to mount the speaker line up. I drilled out the other two holes.

    The plate was taller which for mounting in a door helps fit the magnet but on the rear deck it just makes the speaker sit higher. I was able to put on the rear cover without modification but it sits higher around the speakers due to the adapter height.

    I probably could have drilled new holes or made a custom solution to mount my speakers for the amount of work it took to use these but I still ended up using them. One good thing is they are cheap. I would recommend them if they actually fit your car. The speaker not mounting to the adapter is pretty inexcusable however.

    Fit looks like it will be good. I thought i purchased everything to upgrade tundra speakers. However, they do not come with screws for mounting speakers to adapter. So more time wasted.

    Solid construction, not cheaply made but unfortunately I was looking for something to use with my 2011 Toyota Corolla and was in a rush so I think I made a mistake buying this. Would recommend for the right vehicle.
