    These were like the orignal plates in my side doors. Hinged with a snap in clip to hold it in place. The plastic frame that held the mount in the car door cracked off but there was a space that allowed me to drill a hole and attach it with a screw. Strong hold. Happy !

    It does the job and fits except the tabs on the side are in the way. You can either remove them or just leave them and screw it down anyway. I just left them as they supplied flexing tension for a tight fit.

    Fits great into my truck, just wish it felt a little more high quality. But it got the job done. Just break off the tabs that you don’t need by bending on the creased line.

    Needed these to install new Kicker KS 6.5in speakers in the front doors of my 2002 Silverado. Perfect fit, no modification needed. The extra clips and bits for other vehicles don’t get in the way of the door panel, so I didn’t have to snap anything off.

    Absolutely worthless! The product states that you can use it for either a 5 1/4 ” or 6 1/2″ speaker.

    Unless you have the exact measurements and cutting tools to fit the 6 1/2″ speaker your speaker will not fit well enough to secure it and you’ll be out the $18 purchase price!

    I ended up using self drilling screws at around $.40 a piece to secure my front speakers with zero issues of them staying in place.

    I was forced to buy this along with my speakers. Literally there was an option to pay 90 dollars for the store to install my speakers or 30 dollars to install them my self and there was no way to get around it. I had to pay thirty extra dollars for something I didn’t need as this part wouldn’t even fit into my vehicle when I replaced my speakers. I also can’t replace them as you get a week to return something before you can’t anymore. If you plan to buy speakers look elsewhere as Best Buy really just wants you to spend as much as you can regardless of wether you know best.

    Worked great in my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500HD LS Crew Cab. They popped right in and Made the install of the 6&1/2” Kicker KS series speakers in the front driver and passenger doors that much easier.

    Does not fit my 6 1/2 speakers. Looks like they only fit the 5 inch and something speakers. But they fit the door no problem.

    These make the install so easy to do it yourself they literally just snap into place. I would recomment connecting your speaker to the mount before trying to put it into the door
