The biggest problem with this is the type of wheels I have.
I had to tilt the camera a little to get it between the spokes of my wheel. This makes everything wonky on the display. Wish there was a way to adjust the picture or camera.

The whole point of this camera is that it’s supposed to be for customers with aftermarket rims.
The pivoting head works great, camera image quality is great, as well. But WHY, Metra, would you market this for customers with different rims when you make the length of the tube the camera sits in THE SAME LENGTH as the standard camera? Most of these aftermarket rims have a different offset, meaning they sit out further. So the camera, sitting at the same depth as the model for factory rims, sees the spokes on the edges of the picture.
As an installer, this is absolute garbage. I took a chance with this product as it was something we sold here through the company, and I absolutely regret it as it’s in the bay and I can’t do the install.

Should have used stainless steel. Ofter kess than a month,the camera housing rusted and the bolts rusted. It honestly sucks. The camera quality it just ok. Mostly the mounitng hardware sucks. I’d look for something else.

Moutning bracket is not great, the power cable mounted behind it and ruined thr camera (cable is no longer usable). The one week it did worj, the camera quality ks very poor (480p).

If you only want this for the sole purpose of the camera then it’s good. The reverse lines however could not be collaborated with my jeep, so to me it defeats the purpose of a reverse camera. I thought this was made for jeeps.
