    This package di not fit right but the installer “made it work” .
    The computer called for a certain year not the one shown. Instead of ordering and me coming back he used this one. First: the colors don’t fit my dash (especially after they broke my dash in 5 places!
    Second the radio sets way to far back and getting the face plate off is nerve wrecking! The face plate won’t stay on !
    I was told by Honda that all they had to do was pull the old and use the exact original dash kit. Oh wait they broke that too.

    This looks great when installed, with virtually no gaps around the trim. I installed in my mother-in-law’s car and she is very pleased because it looks like a factory installation. I will say that, to install the double DIN radio, clipping the middle support had me worried that I’d break something, but it went without a hitch. Once again, Metra made installation simple and successful, and I’ll keep using them for all my after-market installations.

    Almost a perfect fit. Small piece of plastic sticking out of the bottom.

    Best buy did a good job of installing it.

    It fits, they did a good job from what i can tell installing it. But the bluetooth player i bought sits in so it is tough changing the volume controls, as the player sits within the Dash kit enough to make the side volume controls hard to push. It is upsetting to the finger, could be the bluetooth players fault in its positioning. Still an unhappy experience.

    had Geek Squad install on Honda crv
    Not very impressed with the appearance
    Cheap plastic finish.
    Also the radio when installed was not flush with mount
    The Geek Squad rep said this is the best it will fit?
    Radion was tilted a little bit giving a large gap on the top side of mount.

    The package saids its for a Honda CR-V DIN/DDIN2007-2011. It does not work for a 2009 Honda CR-V. Its missing the upper tabs to put the upper screws in to hold the radio in place. It has the lower tabs for the lower screws.

    I personally dont believe the is designed for a 08 honda crv. The bracket on this kit did not line up like the factory brackets did. Was only able to like up 2 out of 4 bolts. I had to make this work it did not fit by any means necessary. Probably fits a civil or other honda vehicle.

    I suppose this is necessary for the head unit I purchased. The price was comparable with other retailers. There is a small gap, it’s not perfect or totally flush. But I suppose that could have been due to the error of Geek Squad installers.

    I dunno anything about car parts. The install team just said I needed this for the new stereo to work. So I did. And it all works.

    Right part seem scarce and overpriced so I was surprised best buy had it. Had to order it online and the online information wasn’t clear about that, but the location did have it. It took them longer to find it on the shelves than it took to put together. Metra makes quality aftermarket parts. Only complaint was the tab has to be broken to make it work for double din per the directions, instead of making the pocket detachable the way metra typically.
