    I purchased the sony receiver for my Honda Civic and these items (metra dash kit, harness wire) needed to install them on my car. Best buy price matched with amazon on the price of the harness wire. Technicians were helpful in explaining the parts and also recommended the parts that needs to be used…helped me with pros and cons of those parts…

    This part fit perfectly and they look good on my car..

    Ugh this dash kit doesn’t fit a 2007 Honda Civic Si, there is a multiple gaps, it doesn’t want to clip in properly I made sure all the clip where installed properly as well , The plastic trim behind the steeling wheel won’t snap in either. And one of the Best Buy associates gave me the wrong harness for my radio he gave me the one for an 07 Honda Accord. That was fun after soldering all the wires together then plugging it in and there was no sound! If you have an amp make sure you get the harness with the amp bypass connector!

    Came late and I had to purchase this item at an auto store that was little but more pricey than this but I paid for this to come the next day and it’s didn’t come till the following week

    Awful installation by geek squad. By far the worst expierence from.Best Buy ive had. Hasnt been many but this was pathetic. Cramer ruined my speakers and my A/C whilr installing this half way fallen out dash. Had to take it to a audio repair shop and it costed me 600$ to get it where it was supposed to be. Offered refund after he told me it had been to long. Then told me to buy a different kit really dissapointing as i waited 12 days after i purchashed the dash and the kit for installation.

    Well just dash kid doesn’t fit the 2006 Civic, they order it for you and then they install it and at the bottom it’s got a big one inch of Gap in your in your dash so then you return it and they order you one from crunchfield which they should do from the beginning with which I don’t see why they don’t make one the right way in the first place so I give this one a star and the person actually sold this to me was Dylan at the 22nd avenue star they just goes to add up to all his other mistakes and then he took my credit card and purchased me a product from an outside store which was crunchfield and then after he done that he refused to do the installation on my car so after ordering me a dash kit from an outside company refused to do the installation or give me a receipt so he’s just and then I bought a amp from him I gave him the cash in his hand I’ve got it on my product list that I paid for it but he put the money in his pocket obviously and I don’t get a nap it’s one thing after another with Dylan at that 22nd avenue store beware beware beware do not have your car stereo installation kit done there I’ve had friends have it done there and besides their stereo their wiring harness to the regular car ends up getting screwed up and they have car problems in the end beware of the 22nd avenue store and Dylan as the manager this is bad bad business

    Seems to work pretty well. Maybe not perfectly flush but blends in with original dash fine. Angle of screen seems good compared to $50 version which had a lot of review complaints about screen angle. Tinted windows helps too.

    This didn’t fit my Sony XAV-AX200 stereo due to the weird angle of the cutout up front. Had to go buy a different brand/style of dash kit to get it to fit.

    I love the fact that the clunky volume buttons are gone and now I have an in-dash display. I read some reviews saying the product didn’t fit right, and figured if I let geek squad install it that it wouldn’t be a problem. I was definitely wrong. It doesn’t clip in on the bottom, and my rear defroster button gets stuck every time I press it because it doesn’t fit in the molding properly. Poor design. But overall cool idea and product

    Was ordered for a 2009 honda civic si and is a different color then the factory dash, i believe it was for a lower trim model, it fits.. poorly… but its there so i guess its functional

    Was excited to get a updated radio in my honda civic, I did the install myself and everything was great. However once we had a few hot Arizona summer temps hit the valley the whole unit warped pretty bad. Im going to try and include some pictures. Its one of those things you dont think about until you notice how hard it is to use the knobs and buttons. Like a few other reviews on here the defrost button does stick and my only solution is to grab the dash kit and shake it up and down in hopes it will unstick. Metra usually makes quality products so im at a loss for what happened here. Overall if you just want a kit and this comes free, id do it because free but i would not pay more than 10$ for it. (The sony head unit also didnt fit and required dremel work to fit)
