I purchased this kit to swap out the Bose receiver in my Corvette with a Pioneer double DIN receiver. The kit came with a lot of un-needed parts if swapping a double DIN for another. The only parts needed from the kit were the screws and brackets to attach the receiver to the dash, but it also came with a storage bin and other adapters for a single DIN receiver. You can’t do a proper install without this kit; however, all C4 and newer Corvettes have double DIN receivers and I can’t imaging anyone would be swapping out their factory receiver for a single DIN receiver so you end up paying for parts that you don’t need and throwing them in the trash.

Replaced the original radio in my 93 Corvette with a Pioneer unit. This dash kit fit perfectly. The Pioneer looks like it was installed at the factory. I’m very happy with the install.
