    The advertizing for the stereo install kit says it will fit a 1993 Ford Mustang. It will not. After my husband had the packaging opened, parts disassembled, money spent, we realized it ‘does not’ fit a 1993 Ford Mustang. I was out the money spent for this item and we had to ‘RE’ purchase an install kit from a website.

    None of the parts could be used on the stereo install. Totally worthless.

    Perfect aftermarket piece makes everything work properly. It holds it all in.

    This was a good buy for installing into my 1993 Wrangler. My biggest complaint is that removing the unused tabs was difficult. I ended up using a metal file to smooth the edges. I also had to round the corners to get it to fit properly in the opening. Once it was shaped correctly, the mounting tabs gave a secure fit.

    It was so simple, pull original stereo, install new stereo. No adapters needed. Being in Ford Parts and Service for 40 years, I can see the potential of this basically “fit everything” adapter kit though.

    Doesn’t fit well. Doesn’t feel well made. Associate said it is a “direct fit” made for the vehicle…it is not.

    This holds the head unite in place nicely. Even over rough off road terrain the unite does not shift. Very happy with the install and final look.

    I was looking for a install kit for my 94 Jeep XJ and came across this. Wasn’t expecting for it to fit so many cars/trucks. But it is made of descent plastic. Its fits kinda loose in my jeep but it works.

    It’s a good product, but wasn’t actually needed for the radio. Be sure to double check even if Best Buy shows that your car model needs this. We installed a JVC radio into a 1989 Ford Ranger XLT and even though the website showed we needed this and that it would fit the truck, neither was correct.
