    Easy instal and works as intended. Able to install in under 30 minutes. Cord had not failed and it has been several months since install

    It was a necessary adapter for installation in my car. I will say that when I purchased the car stereo that required this adapter, the sales associate did not order this adapter, so when we having the stereo installed, the installer had to order it and we had to come back a few days later. The installer did install it quickly–like in a matter of minutes.

    Unless you broke the factory antenna while installing the aftermarket radio, there is no need to purchase this if you have a Subaru Forester 2012 & purchased the (6.2″ – Apple CarPlay™ – Built-in Navigation – Bluetooth – In-Dash CD/DVD/DM Receiver – Black).

    I had to buy this adapter to replace an OEM radio in a 2010 Subaru Forester. The new radio works just fine, so the adapter must have worked well for the BB installation tech who installed the new radio.

    I have installed three systems this year and I have not yet needed this yet???? ( although the store says I need it)… However that does not mean you wont need this for YOUR install….my advice….buy it and if you don’t need it just return it and save yourself a few bucks.
