This washer is JUST ok. I purchased this washer as part of a set. This washer had all the features I wanted in a top-load machine. It wasn’t too expensive, but it also wasn’t cheap. I didn’t buy a front load b/c I’ve had one in the past and hated the extra work I had to do to clean the machine. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy something cheaper with better reviews and less features, or spend the extra money on a better machine.

Auto sense – for water fill level is a joke. It never puts enough water in the load, so I always select the water level myself. Literally, if you allow the washer to “sense” half the clothes will be dry, for the entire wash cycle.

I tried doing the rest and it still didn’t work. I went to the store to see if they could send someone over to fix it because it was less than 48 hours of delivery and I couldn’t get any assistance. I have had nothing but problems since i bought this “smart” washer. It malfunctions all the time and report issues through the app constantly. Maytag does nothing to help, they just send generic responses that never actually solve anything. I’m writing this review after having this washer for 1yr and 9 months and looking to buy a new one because i cant handle the inconvenience of a washer that never works properly. Biggest waste of $1,000 ever, save your money and buy an old school cheaper one.

I like this washing machine, the only thing that i dislike is that its seems like it hold water in yhe drum more than any other previous washing machine which can casue a smell in your washing machine if you go a week with out using it, and you will have to continue to buy afresh washing machine cleaner for it.

100% improvement over the Samsung front loader. This load Maytag is huge inside, we can wash a king sized comforter in it. It’s mostly quiet, has a weird sound when it’s agitating but not an unpleasant sound. Controls are easy to use and it has a smart feature that tells me when the washer is done.

I’ve been experiencing nothing but problems with this washing machine since I purchased it. From issues as simple as the fabric softener not dispensing to consistently encountering an uneven load no matter the number or weight of items in the washer. Additionally, it emits a clicking noise that I can hear from anywhere in the house. I acquired this washer in May of 2022, and I’ve already had to call for servicing three times. Despite its large capacity, it feels like I’m able to wash even fewer items effectively.

This washing machine cleans your clothes without any loud noises. The rinse/spin cycle does an excellent job; at times I can just hang up the clothes to air dry. Very good washing options and digital displays. The water spout inside the washer is nice to hand wash clothes.

So far I am not very pleased with this machine. The clothes always come out really wrinkly even on the wrinkle free cycle. When first installed the hoses were installed backwards causing some damage to some of my clothes, which needed cold water washing. The cycle is longer than my old machine. The store salespersons were very helpful and efficient and so was the repairman. I would like a more simplified version of a washer with an agitator.

I tried to get away from my regretful selection of a front loading washer, purchased about seven years ago. Bought this Whirlpool Top Load washer with very large tub. While it does NOT stink of mold and fungus, as the front load washer always did, it only ever partially fills with water. Clothing items are hardly even stirred in the long cycle and some portions of the load never even get pulled under the water! Imagine washing clothes by putting them near soapy water, but never allowing them to touch that soapy water. All this when the tub is not filled more than 40% of capacity with laundry. So, while this machine does not stink of mold, it DOES just “stink”.

Great load capacity but the longevity is ridiculous. 1st one busted not long after a year. Bestbuy screwed me over with totaltech, bought a second one to keep matching the dryer and we are two months in and it’s already making noises. Keep in mind I didn’t use it for a month because I went out of town.

Efficient washer with a sensor to tell what water level is needed. Large wash drum that balances out loads automatically. The electronic controls are very helpful. It is very easy to set and and the washer is very quiet.

Works great. Dependable washer. So why do they have a tiny fragile door latch that snaps in half easily rendering it useless? We’ve gone through 8 replacements so far. Now the motor failed and requires $700 to fix. We have only had this washer for TWO (2) years. A warranty plan was NOT available at the time of purchase. Don’t buy it.
