Bought four of these speakers for a home theater install, the sound that they produce is warm and not very pitchy. I ran the speaker calibration on my Marantz receiver and the sound is very easy on the ear.

I replaced an old pair of IC’s with these Helos to match my Motion 40’s. Originally, I wanted to get some satellites, but learned the tweeter on these could be directionally adjusted. I decided to use this pair as my left and right surround channels. I immediately noticed how natural and 360 the sound was! I was highly impressed and it blew away most of the doubts I had about using IC’s as part of my 5.2 set up. The last pair of IC’s were in the same ball park number (as far as price and quality), but these blew them away instantly. I have to say Martin Logan keeps delivering!

We have two of these speakers for our front channel left/right and then two of the holder models for the back let/right (we did a remodel and utilized a few of our original pieces) . Our center channel speaker comes directly from our new 77″ Sony A9 and the whole set-up is amazing!! The sound is crystal clear and you can feel all the notes and sounds!
