    It’s a great speaker but has one noticed defect…it completely cuts off for few seconds if you stream music from Apps like Apple Music etc., when ever you turn the volume up or down using phone screen volume slider. Better go with Acton III do not have this issue. Overall one speaker goes all the way for any events like get together or parties etc., its very loud and feels that thumping bass even do not have any subwoofer etc.,…feels premium construction and high quality Marshall sound.

    Great stationary Bluetooth speaker! The sound is crystal clear and completely adjustable to personal preferences. It plugs into the wall, so you never have to worry about charging it, or the battery going bad after time. Great retro look. What’s not to like?

    Great product! My partner loves it! He just wishes we could control the volume settings were separate between the phone and product. The jump between the volume settings is a bit more different than it should, the connection is slightly interrupted when two people are connected and it’s branded as wireless when it’s not. Other than that, highly recommend. These are minor things compared to the quality and sound it provides. It’s insane and worth the price!

    Marshall speakers always delivers rich sound and ACTION II delivers what was promised. It’s a great compact speaker that fits beautifully anywhere you place it in the room. High on BASS which might feel lot louder and some may not find it capturing. Aux feature allows you to plug in your cellphone and not headphone. Only drawback is that it is not portable and need to be plugged into power always.

    It’s the worst BT speaker I have ever purchased. The sound is mushy and dead. My tiny and ancient Sony SRS X3 is far superior. This is not Marshall-quality electronics. The app does not work on my phone (Android 11), but the versions of Android that do are not specified anywhere. I thought possibly adjusting the sound through the app might clean this thing up despite the fact I would not use it with a phone but I can’t even try. I bought this thing because it is wired and intended to use it in the house. I don’t need a battery for stationary use, and I thought this would eliminate having to charge constantly. I did not intend to use it with my phone, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. However, the app does not work, so the sound cannot be cleaned up. My primary use was intended to be PC or TV, but it stinks with both. The voice is almost intelligible, and the music simply sounds dead, with no clarity at all, regardless of where the bass and treble are set. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I taught sound physics for over 15 years before I retired and know what I am talking about.

    I LOVE this unit!! The sound is amazing. It was a little tricky connecting it to my iPhone, but I think I was rushing to process because I was so excited to try it out. Co-workers love the look when they drop by my office and are surprise with the quality of the sound.

    My daughter loved this because of the style. I found the sound to be very good. They make some with batteries; this one must be plugged in. That doesn’t really bother me as this will be her primary sound system in her dorm or future post-college living room.

    The controls are “retro” and she thought they were fun. I liked the feel of them.

    The fit and finish is quite good, given the shoddy way products are made these days.

    Is it very loud? No. Is it loud enough for a dorm room? Absolutely.

    Even Better: wireless, in the store at the time they only had the wired option. Will look for wireless for future.
    Setup: Android: it took a bit to set up. Speaker was not easily discoverable

    Acton II is a nice upgrade from a portable, battery powered BT Speaker. The sound quality is decent, lows and highs nicely balanced, but the stereo image is a bit narrow (to be expected when it’s all in one chassis). The Acton can get loud, and stays clear even at high levels. Visual and build is top-notch and feels expensive and classy. I’m an audio engineer, and this is a decent value for the money — just remember, it is AC-powered which means no battery operation. It’s a great speaker for around the house.

    Sounds really good but after a almost a year of buy the Bluetooth is acting up the music stop playing you have to be dealing with it so i think durability not good sound super good
