Very happy with this receiver easy to setup and operate sound quality is outstanding. It’s hooked up to my Klipsch 5.1 speakers for now.

Great value. Works well with eARC input on my new Sony which was the reason for the purchase. More than enough power for my Martin Logan speakers. You can spend more. It comes down to what speaker array you have.

I was disappointed with this receiver. I have a new smart TV that wouldn’t connect with. I tried 2 different receivers and I had the same problem. I’m pretty savvy with Home Theater electronics and it wouldn’t work. I even had the Geek Squat try to connect it. No success. That’s a lot of money for a receiver and it has a connectivity problem with a Samsung smart TV. Marantz has to do better.

Apparently there’s a known issue with 4K/120Hz passthrough, which Best Buy didn’t mention anywhere. This issue has been around for well over a year. Marantz will send you a free adapter to fix the issue, but I need THREE of them (you only get one). 4K/120 is the main reason I purchased this unit and I’m pretty upset that Best Buy mentioned nothing about it.

The Marantz SR2015 continues the tradition of High Fidelity reproduction by a company that is almost 70 years old. I was considering the Pioneer VSXLX305. I chose the Marantz due to it’s hefty output current capability relative to the Pioneer’s. GOOD choice. This Marantz has a much warmer and is deeper in second order harmonics so that even the most untrained ear can distinguish the Marantz’s superior sound reproduction.
Simply put, I feel this receiver is the best bang for the buck when assembling your home theater.

I bought this model due to the price point vice the SR6015. I also liked the fact that there is no internal microphone in the SR5015. Alexa and all that. I really do not use.
Sounds fantastic for music, surround, superior upscaled 8k signal, and ease of use. I think I made a great choice. Happy with product.

This Marantz SR5015 is the best receiver I have owned. It was recommended by Best Buy to replace a Denon SRV1500 which was several years old. It is the hub of my theater room along with a Sony 6000 projector, a Panasonic 9000 DVD player and a Firestick, all purchased from Best Buy. The receiver seems to make music sound better with more depth and stereo separation than before. I would prefer a full size dial rather than the small porthole window but that’s the trademark of Marantz.

This is my second Marantz receiver. My old one is SR 7007 which of course is more powerful (125 W per channel) than SR 5015 (100 W per channel). But the old one does not support Dolby Atmos and will not pass through Dolby Vision. Also old one does not have eARC. Using this SR 5015 with Sony BRAVIA TV X85K with 120-Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. Though I used to watch movies in my home theater, I stopped watching in the theater after this TV and Receiver Combination. Using Klipsch RP 8060 for speakers. Marantz did an amazing job! The living room sounds like a small theater!
