You’ll get knocked down, but you’ll get up again. Those monsters will never keep you down
JagadishK –
One of the worst games ever. Leveling sucks big-time

First and foremost, I am a huge Soulsborne/Souls-Like fanatic. I love the challenge that those types of games provide me along with the environmental storytelling, When I heard that Lords of the Fallen was getting a soft reboot, I followed the game’s progression closely.
When the release date of Friday the 13th arrived, I was very excited.
Let me say that the game doesn’t disappoint visually or narratively. The combat mechanics, however, aren’t perfect and hopefully will be updated in the near future.
The game is rich with gothic visuals and sounds, Lords of the Fallen just drips with Dark Souls inspiration all over. There are several classes to choose from and I suggest that you choose carefully unless you’re willing to put a couple of hours in and then start all over.
In typical Dark Souls like fashion, there are challenges around every corner that will force you to die over and over again all while grinding to raise your XP. But it’s so worth it as some of you familiar with this genre will know.
My biggest issue with this game is the lock on system during combat. Despite me going into the settings and turning off auto lock on, the game will still randomly lock your cursor onto an enemy that’s not an immediate threat all the while the real threat is about to hit you and you are desperately trying to lock onto it. It’s frustrating to say the least. But this issue isn’t enough for me to throw away the game. I love it too much.
If you or someone you know is looking to fill in the void of a Soulsborne experience until the Elden Ring expansion release, then I suggest Lords of the Fallen.
WIth its alluring set pieces and immersive sound design, you will spend hours with this game and have frustrating fun.
MatthewH –
expansive game with great variety, but bogged down by imbalanced difficulty and a variety of bugs
Surita61 –
Fun have to play. Took a while to get into it but once i did I enjoyed it. Only problem wish when i pre order i don’t have to wait 2 days to get it. Should get it that day it comes out
CHernan090 –
Its a really fun and enternaining game but theit has too many bugs right now. Even in single player the lag is crazy while doing boss battles and i had a few crashes.
Ernie –
I enjoyed this game more than Elden Ring even though most boss fights felt unsatisfied. Where this game shines is in its level design & exploration.

Was twice as good as I expected. And by ordering on line for store pick up, I didn’t even have to wait in the checkout line!
VicanthonyM –
not as good as elden ring but a good souls game…
BonCort –
The moment I saw it I liked it because it looked like a mix between the aesthetics of Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls. The game might not be as excellent as the previously mentioned but it’s a fun title worthy of a chance
JasonS –
Enjoy the game so far. Has some Elden Ring similarities.
Dustin –
So far the gameplay is exactly what I was hoping for and gives me the same feeling as games like Dark Souls. If you like this kind of game style try it out!
Jefh –
The game is a challenge, similar to Dark Souls or Demon Souls. This isn’t bad, because it ends up having you playing a game a lot longer than most titles out there. If you are a streamer this makes an entertaining game to play while interacting with viewers!
MatthewB –
As a fan of Darksouls and Elden ring this is a dimond in the rough
MalcolmR –
Game is great and I’ve been really enjoying. Best soulslike I’ve played.
GenoO –
I enjoyed it very much. It was challenging but not too hard to make me never want to touch it and the versatility of the character selection was captivating to say the least.
Tablet –
I don’t recommend buying this game. Game play sucks.
Eddy –
The game looks like a next gen game but the combat is a but clunky and the hit box a hit or miss. I think if you can get this gane for $40 or less than it is a good deal.
MistyS –
Game is amazing and great deal I got on it. I paid 20% off
BlackTKEkid –
Liked the atmosphere of the game. Different for others.
AdamM –
Very good game. Challenging and fun. Highly recommend for people that like souls like games.

Huge fan of games like these. This one is amazing, love the feel of it!
AnthonyC –
Awful experience. Had to buy item twice because first was lost and got no retribution. I will never buy video games from Best Buy again.
Jamie –
Lord of the falling is by far the best game I ever play there’s so much to do in this game. It’s not easy but so much fun
MHunter –
Solid game, very funny to play, graphics are amazing.
Annie –
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend
Cmillz –
If your a soulslike fan then this fits right in. I would say this one has been pretty challenging with just the regular mob density. And so far there seems to be alot of different weapons and gear so thats always a plus. And the artwork looks amazing. At launch the gamr had some minir problems but they have pretty much fixed all that in patchs which is pretty normal. Over all this game is perfect for souls like.
Jake –
Bought this to play with a friend. It’s pretty fun, but it is marred by performance issues in multiplayer and overall the enemy placement installs an artificial difficulty that is extremely annoying to deal with. Even the smallest of enemies become super tanky, especially in multiplayer.
AzureR –
Great game, in line with elden ring type of play, easy controls.
NextGen –
In love with this game. Excellent souls-like. Great ambience. Loads of potential
TrevonC –
Souls-type gone right. I think they got the formula right this time and have been speedy with the bug fixes.
SergioR –
Really great game and challenging best buy team helped me out a lot
maggalish01 –
The game is fun! The two different realms is very unique and I love the art style. Fun soulsbourne game.
EliezerR –
The game arrived right on time just as Best Buy said it would and in good condition. The game is amazing and I’m still enjoying it now.
Paradigm1 –
Fun game. Have not played if very much yet, but what I have looks and sounds great. Is fun so far.
DennisP –
It’s a new game for me but it’s very good, thank you
BADASSGAMER –
If into souls like games this is one for you! Not as difficult as Elden Ring but just as fun, highly recommended!
GeneM –
Price was goid and very challenging, not for young kids.
Unknown –
Great game it was really fun i was able to finish it all and really good graphics
Matt –
I love the souls series, and because of that i love souls likes. Nioh, code vein, lies of p..etc. this caught my eye as well. Unfortunately lords of the fallen does little in the way of separating itself from the pack. Very generic and bland combat, enemy design and levels. I really tried to like it, but i found myself being more frustrated than having fun
KevinA –
Game is fun but a little clunky at times for my taste. Someone once said if you enjoy dark souls 2 then you’ll love this game and I couldn’t agree more. I’ve had fun while playing this but I have yet to beat it but overall a solid game.
Donnie –
Great game. Customer service was good. Cant complain.
EliasIann –
The game is not as hard as Elden Ring, and good armor is really easy for enemies to drop them. Enemies do a lot of damage as well. The game is balanced differently. The graphics are way better than Elden Ring, this looks more realistic. And the game feels very open. Even though this is not considered an open world game a lot of the different locations connect to each other
Ma0789 –
Super fun souls like. Great replay value. Minor bugs that are getting periodically fixed.
LuisT –
Great item son really enjoyed the game plays it all the time.
