John –
Excellent keyboard and works as expected. This is a great replacement for the one that came with my PC.
MXKeys –
Really comfortable palm rest and smooth key travel. The keys don’t make any sound while typing which makes it better.
Matt –
The Logitech RGB lighting doesn’t start up upon booting the computer. You have to open Logitech Hub every time. Or at least, I have to.
MitchSchlitter –
This keyboard is super nice and I like it a lot, the only thing I wish was different was if it was cushioned more on the wrist.
TechMama –
Its ok. Kind of clunky. Takes up a lot of space. I wouldnt buy this again.
ranger1966 –
This thing works great. No problem and easy install. Added bonus is the wrist rest. I like it!

For a wired keyboard I like the K740 much better as its sleeker and the buttons feel much better to me. But its sold out & this keyboard has proven to be a very ok stop-gap. I need backlit keys but this thing cycles through a rainbow of colors which to me is distracting. Im on Linux, and there is a G810-LED program in my package manager for this and other Logitech gaming keyboards so I run ‘g213-led -an 1490e1’ from the command line or little executable batch file to make it a nice solid blue & all is well. Its a big, full-size keyboard with built-in hand rests, which I also prefer. I’m not a hard-core gamer so can’t comment about its gaming capabilities other than it has game mode and very helpful media keys. Its a great deal for the price.
Danny –
This keyboard is very nice and the way the LEDs light up under the keys are really sweet!
bhass –
In the 6 months I’ve had the keyboard there has been no issue, reliable and comfortable
User –
Very good, no problem have. Im satisfied with a product
DEW63 –
Very good key lighting and types just fine. I’m not sure for gaming but for nice colors and to see keys in the dark it’s great.
James –
Looks great with my new PC set up! Lights are adjustable.
GoodMouse –
Cool, looks long lasting material and easy to configure
pefarrell –
Wired membrane keyboard with volume and play/pause controls. This is a really nice keyboard, but it is a step down from the mechanical keyboards and thus it is not so expensive. It has RGB backlighting that is controlled with the G-Hub software.
Chele007 –
It was a very easy decision since we have always used Logitec products, my son was delighted with the lighting and how soft the keys are to play as well as being very good user programmable.
RomanP –
Awesome keyboard works excellent will enjoy many years to come
InfernoT –
Typing is smooth and not too loud and I like the dedicated media keys.
user610599 –
No leakage of lights around buttons unlike majority of RGB keyboards.
Mikey86 –
Good entry level keyboard with RGB lighting for a cool look
GerardK –
X-mas present…still wrapped under the tree. For my Wife, she asked for a softer touch, I wanted a back light. Here’s to hoping I did good!
Mark –
that’s so cool! I like it. It change different kind of light colors under the keyboard, you don’t need the lamp.
Tina –
Bought this for my gaming child. He loves it and It’s durable.
LauraM –
Very comfortable keyboard. And quiet keys.love the lights on the keys too.

For a membrane gaming keyboard, my expectations were relatively low. However, I can say with confidence that this is probably the best keyboard I’ve ever used. I’ve used a fair amount of keyboards, those being mechanical, membrane, mecha-membrane, etc. There have been a few good keyboards, and a lot of just “meh” keyboards. However, the G213 Prodigy is my favorite by far. It’s not overtly loud, but it has a nice sound to it. The RGB could be a little brighter, however, its perfectly fine in darker areas. The media keys are a nice touch, and the wrist rest, while permanently attached to the keyboard, is a nice length and is comfortable to rest my hands against. The keys have a slightly rubberized feel to them, which, depending on who you are, you’ll either love or hate them. I personally really like them because my fingers don’t slip from the keys. This keyboard works with Logitech’s G Hub software. The software itself is relatively unobtrusive, and is very easy to navigate compared to software from other keyboards I’ve used. All in all, if you need a gaming keyboard that’s cheap, great to type on, has decent lighting, dedicated media keys, and a minimalistic design, the G213 is definitely for you.
Seijitzu –
I needed a keyboard quick and this was my only option within my budget at the time. They keycaps feel nice, but it’s not the best typing experience.
Jeff –
If you want a good basic gaming keyboard at a low price, look no further.
GDawg23 –
Using this item to type this review. The keys feel very responsive and not too loud or quiet. Highly recommend this keyboard as it also comes with the wrist rest and isn’t uncomfortable.
Excellence –
Was great at first, after 3 months several keys are malfunctioning and can’t return it, never will buy anything Logitech again.
PaulB –
Good keyboard, but I needed one with a USB port. The on-line specs said there was one, but that is not true.
Cogsworth –
Got this on sale and I’m glad I did. Excellent gaming keyboard without all the fancy, smanshy trimmings. Works perfectly for my simple gaming needs.
AmandaV –
my favorite keyboard, I wish it came in wireless version (where it would be just a great to type on as this one). I have one for home and another at work.
SaikrishnaA –
The keyboard is perfect for typing and gaming. I would use the keyboard mostly for typing, I personally like the membrane keyboard for typing, because they are not heavy on the hand, easy to press, and type fast.
Palm rest is incredible, it supports the hand very well.
MariaS –
Great keyboard. It lights up and you don’t have to worry about the letters coming off.
rcrybnikar –
My HP laptop keys started malfunctioning and I was unable to fix it at home. While I am not a gamer, I am an old guy who hammers the keys and felt that a keyboard made for gamers might withstand my heavy handedness. It is brand new so I have limited use on it, but I like the tactile nature of the keys. The wrist pad is very nice, too. I have included a picture. I suppose I am not the demographic Logitech has in mind (although I am a longtime, several model, fan of their mice) Having the keyboard where it is makes the screen the right distance away for me, too. My daughter will be jealous.
Stacinator –
I am an editor, not a gamer. I needed a wired, backlit keyboard with 10-key, for $50 or less. This one filled the requirements perfectly.
Easy to program backlight colors. I was afraid membrane keys would be feel mushy, but they click enough to be satisfying. My only complaint is the bright Number Lock light, but a little black tape fixed that problem.
I’ve had nothing but luck with Logitech keyboards, and have already recommended this one to friends and family.
SandraR –
This keyboard has a great feel, and great for gaming, love the lights, would recommend;)
AutumnS –
Absolutey amazing. Responds great and is soneasy to use.
randomname13 –
A nice keyboard for the price. Quality brand with a nice layout. Media buttons at the top right corner have come in handy more than expected, and has a nice long cable for more difficult desktop locations.
Nickname –
Fantastic board for membrane! Gives a nice tactile feel and great key response. If you don’t want to spend a fortune on a mechanical board but need reliability and a great feel, this is it!
AlbertoF –
I gave it to my Manager for her birthday. She’s very happy
Dwor –
Works and looks great. The software sometimes bugs out and turns lights off but that’s rare and either unplug and replug or restart pc fixes
AlexD –
Awesome keyboard love how you can customize the keys I set mine for the holidays
JimW –
Love this keyboard. Lights up and the keys are very responsive. Easy to setup and use.
Roehit –
Full Mechanical keyboards available for this price point.
BrianM –
It works well so far the keyboard is cool and very nice
travishsks –
Satisfying clicks. The Logitech app allows you to customize the key colors. There are five different zones, allowing each zone to be a different color, all the same, or a combination, or off completely. You can also map the keys to your preference. There is no noticeable latency, and the game mode button ensures you don’t accidentally hit the Windows key.
FedExLosesEverything –
I would have typed this review on the Prodigy G213 keyboard I ordered from Best Buy, but I couldn’t because Fed Ex never delivered it. They sent me an email saying they couldn’t do the one single thing they exist to do, then they went *poof* and disappeared forever.
I highly recommend the Logitech G213 to all Fed Ex customers; thanks to its revolutionary membrane, you can cry into this keyboard for hours every time Fed Ex loses all your packages and it will still work flawlessly.
Or so I assume, Fed Ex lost mine.
HappyUser321 –
Great keyboard! Well lit and nice touch. Makes typing easier.
4o4o –
Works great and looks good, no complaints at all!!
KayM –
This keyboard is okay if you like very clicky keys. The keys are tall and spaced apart compared to my previous Logitech Y-UY95 which is no longer available. I kept it because it’s the only Logitech I could find that has the built-in wrist rest.
