If you’re a competitive gamer, this is the perfect clicky keyboard.
Cleavis –
I love the lower profile keyboard. Mechanical keys feel great. Definitely one of the best keyboards i have owned.
Zzzz –
Overpriced , keycaps feel cheap when you push on them and it’s not really worth the money.
Amrit –
Very good keyboard I personally really like the keys and it is a lot easier to clean
scorcher64 –
My only con with this is that Logitech did NOT design the keyboard for the secondary/shift symbols to light up with the RGB:
~!@#$%^&*()_+{}|:”<>? doesn’t have any lighting.

I enjoy a low profile keyboard; it helps with faster typing and is easier to clean due to the keys being short and falt. The typing experience is nice and all but man it’s a pricey. There are many aluminium keyboard (clicky) that run much less and do all the same stuff.
It’s rather large also, more than most keyboard with a numpad. The custimization options are nice from the Ghub app. You can change each key color, mode buttons, and even the logo on the top left.
The side G buttons were annoying and one of main reasons I returned it. I kept hitting G5 instead of Ctrl, to the point where I had to disable the keys; which seems counterproductive; it also adds extra inch and a half to the overall size.
The type experience was pleasant and the keys were nice (seemingly resistent to finger oils and easy to wipe off).
But overall, even on sale, it’s not worth it for me. I can’t justify having this when there are lesser priced options which work just as well.
One thing I really did like though was the roller volume control, the thing worked percisely and was super convenient the way they have it set up. But I just end up changing the volume on my speakers or the with my mouse instead.

Very sleek and comfortable keyboard. It’s heavy duty and does not like its easy to break.

This is by far the worst Logitech keyboard I’ve ever owned. I have owned all of the highest tier keyboards from Logitech since the g15. This keyboard’s keys are flat and there’s no tick on the F or J key or on the 5 in the 10 key area like there are on the G15, G19, or G910 to indicate what keys they are so if your hand so much as slips off of the keyboard, you have to look down to reposition it, unless you can feel your way around it. There is no indentions in the keys caps and the feel is what I would describe as a laptop keyboard with clicky switches.
This keyboard is NOT for large hands. my hands feel cramped just typing on it for this review. There is zero ergonomics that went into this and honestly, I don’t know how anyone can game on this thing for hours without developing carpal tunnel.
I’m write a lot of scripts in bash, powershell, zshell, and cmd for my work and after a few days of having this keyboard, I’m ready to plug my g910 back in and find a new brand.
Logitech has removed the one gimmick I bought into a long time ago when I purchased my first keyboard from them which was the built in display, so I’m thinking of switching to razr or another brand after this whole experience. Logitech products have served me well over the years but this was an absolute let down. I can’t believe I paid so much for this garbage keyboard.
I’ve also tried wrist rests, I’ve tried the keyboard with the back legs up, back legs down, this thing sucks.
If I had one positive thing to say about this keyboard, it’s that the switches are very nice and clicky. That’s about all I got though.
My typing accuracy is usually very good, but I made 27 typos while writing this review due to this stupid keyboard in combination with my big hands and had to go back and fix each one.

Awesome clicky keyboard, and it suits my smaller hands quite well. Highly recommend
Kynu –
It feels incredible. You want that amazing keyboard? This is the one yiuve been searching for.
buynlarge –
My favorite keyboard. Works well with Linux too, just setup custom colors and macros to onboard memory slots M1-M3 through a Windows device and you’re good to go.
Sucks that Logitech replaced braided cables with plain plastic. My 2020 G815 has a braided cable.
PaulH –
This is exactly the kind of keyboard I was looking for. Sturdy, customizable backlighting, mechanical, clicky.
The body of the keyboard is aluminum and it has a thin profile. The keys are low profile and sit up above the plane of the keyboard which is probably helpful when trying to clean out debris (food) from under the keys.
It also has programmable keys that you can use to record macros for games and this is tied to the Logitech G Hub app. I personally probably won’t use this feature, but if it’s something you are used to from other keyboards then you’ll be right at home with this feature. In fact, this keyboard probably has a lot of features I won’t use, but just having the quality construction is the selling point for me.
Now a small number of people won’t be completely happy with this keyboard if they also hoped to see the secondary symbols on the keys also backlit. If you’ve been around keyboards a long time you likely wouldn’t need this anyway, but there are other keyboards that do have secondary symbols backlit. Each key can be changed do a different color or you can use global color schemes and even have animated effects like rolling color changes throughout each key zone. I’m happy just to have a good backlit keyboard that I can easily change the brightness on so that it’s not too distracting when I’m watch video content.
Again, great keyboard, loaded with features, really happy with my purchase.
MattW –
Excellent keyboard with a ton of features, especially for the $100 price tag at the time of purchase.
user903291 –
I love how the keys feel and the way they are positioned, especially the extra G buttons. Everything feels like I can reach it and is satisfying to type. The UI for the app is alright, took me a minute to figure out how to keep it one color and for games to stop overwriting it, but otherwise a great keyboard.
JasM –
Very enjoyable to type with, love the clicky sound and tactile bump.
Nero –
very good just wasn’t what i was looking for! would recommend
Nathan –
This product was honestly better than I expected. The switches are satisfying to type with and the keyboard layout itself is a convenient. If you are looking for a full size keyboard, this could be the one for you.
WilliamM –
Having small (for a man) hands the full size full stroke keyboard is tough and was why I opted for this keyboard. The only thing I would change is non clicky buttons but that’s all Best Buy had in stock.
Patrick –
My first low profile mechanic keyboard, feels quite good typing on it and the clicky mechanism is quite unique comparing to traditional keyboards. One issue is that, the keycaps are easy to remove, too easy sometimes so wiping the keyboard would remove keycaps if you’re doing it hard.
Lost –
Great upgrade from older razor keyboard. Faster response, programmable buttons.
DavidL –
What a nice keyboard for gaming. Colorful too but my kids are more into that. We all love the key noise and feel!
EvanG –
Honestly, one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used you get the tactile feedback of a mechanical keyboard, while having that low profile feel of a laptop I can understand the not everyone likes that but I really do
Drew –
Solid keyboard. Nice display, functions, and easy to use.
GabrielB –
Great Keyboard! Super clicky! Super high quality and durable
Cody –
It has everything i have been looking for. Media controls right on the keyboard are so handy.
Duel –
If you want a keyboard with a solid tactile click when you press your keys, this is a fantastic choice. A bit on the heavy side, but has a great build for a low profile keyboard.
Unknown –
The feel and response of the keyboard is genuinely amazing. I would say it’s a bit large for most smaller desk
Kevin –
Two years later the keyboard works great still. Even had someone spill on it and it still works great.the clicks of the keys are extremely satisfying. Great quality. Worth the price.
Jw11 –
Keyboard is very well built and sturdy. Clickyness of keuboard is very satisfying.
KeyriJ –
For the time that I been using it has been nothing but praises. The feel and quality of the switches/keys are satisfying.
The volume nob is a tube that slide up and down kinda weird to look at but easy to change your volume.
The app to switch led lights is easy to set up, most of it just preferences. The G-keys allow you set up keybinds (mute on discord, open apps, etc…).
Amazing –
This is a very nice keyboard. I upgraded from a standard razer black widow and the thin low profile keys are a good change.
Brittany –
Great keyboard!
If you havent guessed by now im writing this review on this keyboard, the clicky sound is wonderful, pressing the keys on this keyboard feel like youre tapping your finger on a clicky cloud.
The customizable lighting effects are super cool, im not usually a fan of RGB anything as its too distracting and not really my thing, but i keep the backlights on and set it to a pattern that bursts when i type something, its actually kinda cool.
The programmable buttons kinda got in my way at first and sometimes still do when i accidentally bump it it dosnt feel like a normal keyboard to put it that way, its actually larger but feels shorter because of the keys being at the end, you have 3 buttons to toggle different lighting effects (which are programmable but you can only pick one for the keyboards memory without the app being open which kinda sucks but it isnt that bad.
I love the little volume roller its helped a ton, i really didnt realize how much i needed something like that until i got it and now i cant imagine a keyboard without it, i dont use the media control buttons under it tho, to me its a waste but it serves its purpose im sure.
I use this keyboard for typing emails (yes how dull), talking to friends, and playing PC games (obviously).
Overall this is a great keyboard as it says at the beginning but really i think the best feature is though it was pricier than any keyboard i ever bought, the construction, the fact that its metal (aluminum), and the feeling of the mechanical keys.
My biggest gripe, it has two USB plugs which takes up more than one space (as if you couldnt count) in my PC which already has no space left for any more USB plugs, but thats not like a super killer.
Oh yeah, it also comes with a big ol honkin sticker, if youre anything like me (god i hope not) thats the biggest reason to buy it
TylerR –
Great to type on and game. These low profile switches are naturally quieter due to low mass and reduced travel while still having strong feedback and quick response.
MaddieA –
Keyboard is awesome! There’s one probelm though.. The keys paint is already coming off sadly.
Alanmcbride –
Good key clicking and function only down side so far is the under wedges that prop up the top of key board need rubber feet because the bare plastic just makes the keyboard slide away from me on my desk and have to put stuff on that side to stop it sliding
Mattrocity –
Nice and clicky. Solid construction. Minimal design compared to Orion model I had before, which I couldn’t repurchase. Wouldn’t go back now though. Pleased with everything.
MorningStarEL –
Loved it, awesome with my gaming laptop demon . Great response time.
BrandonB –
awesome service and good service as always will see you again soon
JuanH –
Bought as a Christmas gift for my son. Loved the clicking sound can connect it to his Xbox. Buying one for myself.
SalM –
I’m on the newer end of the gaming PC, this is the first keyboard I’ve spent hard money and totally worth it, if feels smooth and crispy and that volume roller on the keyboard blew my mind ☺️
Scott –
I had been looking to upgrade to a real LED keyboard for sometime. When I saw this keyboard on a Black Friday sale ($70 off!!!) I couldn’t say no. The controls are excellent! The lighting is beautiful and programmable keys are easy to do. My only Con is the keys are a little loud from what I was used to
NoelleSeiffert –
Great product. Nice low profile keyboard with tons of RGB customization. Beautiful clicky sound.
RobertR –
I am used to the ESC and the CTRL keys being in the corner of the keyboard, so I would often mis-click the keys. But they are offset a little because of the “G” keys, but now that I have the muscle memory of where they are I am really happy with this keyboard!
Unknown –
everything is good but the wired connection is too big!
GerryB –
Quality design and nice clicky keys. Very customizable as well. I also like that it has a pass thru USB port on the top side of the keyboard.
thuggie –
I think Logitech makes some good darn quality solid keyboards just wish it was smaller for fps gaming like cod linear or tactile.
Unknown –
Great keyboard. Appreciate the responsiveness of the keys.
IchiroY –
I have a couple of gaming keyboards, but this keyboard is my favorite.
user654140 –
Fantastic keyboard. Feel is great, sensitivity is amazing, and the lighting is great too. Absolutely one of the best keyboards on the market
PowerFresh –
Logitech- Wired GL Clicky Switch Gaming Keyboard. The light background on the keys great when playing with lights out. Gamers love it.
