very good and comfortable to use. Great keyboard ….

I wanted a keyboard that had the responsiveness of my old mechanical keyboard but without the number pad. All of the important word processing keys are there without the extra width of the numbers. The lighted keys are a plus in the corner where I have my computer.

I spend a lot of time on the computer doing design work (CAD, graphic illustration, image editing, and circuit board design). That translates into hours spent “flying a mouse” and entering data via the keyboard. When using a standard keyboard (that includes a ten-key) my right hand ends up reaching out to the side (to use the mouse) for hours on end. After a while my shoulder begins to ache simply because a standard keyboard “pushes” the mouse off to the side. A TKL or “mini” keyboard is the obvious solution. Either one will allow my mouse to be positioned closer to my midline, reducing the shoulder ache from having to reach out to the side so far. Believe it or not, four inches makes a big difference.
When I made the decision to purchase either a TKL or mini keyboard I had these items on my wish list – mecahnical keys (preferably “clicky” keys), single color backlighting, and key caps spaced wide enough apart that I could quickly differentiate one for the other without looking. And since my desk is next to a very large east-facing window, I also wanted keyboard backlighting that was easy to adjust using keys on the keyboard, NOT some intrusive software that continued to run in the background. This Logitech TKL SE keyboard checked all the boxes.
Compared to many in this keyboard segment, this Logitech is priced well – my star ratings ratings reflect my impression of the keyboard compared to other keyboards at this price point.
The keys on the keyboard available at my local BestBuy were linear keys (heavy sigh). For a keyboard a this price point they work well enough. The key caps are spaced and shaped similar to my full size keyboard, allowing me to type easily when I change from one to the other (when I am programming or writing I use my full size keyboard so I have the ten key available).
The backlighting on this G413 TKL SE is white and easy to adjust using either of two function keys. Perfect! The key caps are labeled very simply, making it easy to locate characters that I don’t use frequently. The angle/height adjustment is adequate (two small plastic legs that adjust either up or down at the back edge of the bottom of the keyboard). The cable length is great (six feet!) making it possible to plug the keyboard into the back of my PC case that sits under the left side of my desk. The weight of the keyboard is adequate to ensure it doesn’t move as I type. All-in-all, this is a pretty nice keyboard at a price that makes it a good value.

After comapring many keyboard tests on rtings.com and trying every display models at Best Buy, I found this to be the best to my liking. Tactile key, simple backlit (I don’t want a firework show from my keyboard), quality construction. I code, I game, I am on my PC 12 hours a day, and this keybard serves me perfectly.

Its a good mechanical keyboard for who want a cheaper one.
supersucker3 –
this keyboard is just what I was looking for in a wired TKL model from Logitech
CyborgJester –
Price was great, sturdy construction with mechanical switches with no software needed. Definitely a purchase well made!
Pasta –
I replaced my mini razer with this bad boy. It just sounds much better compared to the razer mini. 10/10
Harada –
Great keyboard, especially since when typing they sound as loud.

I’m not even a “real” gamer, I buy G series because of its quality and performance and this product just doesn’t represent Logitech, or G series in a good way. Im a 30+ year Logitech customer and product user. I have an older model G413 in silver so I thought I knew what I could expect from a newer G413. The individual problems are not a big deal each on their own but combined ita a bit too many things wrong with product… 1) keyboard is unusable if the LED lights are not on… 2) the numbers and symbols are not crisp and on some keys the number or symbol isn’t completely visible with LED lights on… 3) light bleed under keys and between keys is very noticeable with black aluminum back drop… 4) back hight adjust is limited to one setting and uts too low… 5) keys seem to be spaces closer together than my old G413… 6) FN functions on function keys are just printed on with light gray ink vs. on my old G413 they were actually translucent so they light up when LEDs are on.
Nick –
This keyboard is fantastic, everything I wanted and more. Lights and quick response.
Lalo –
Pretty amazing keyboard. Very clicky! And shiny! 🙂
TimPhilly –
Due to low vision issues, I need/prefer backlit stuff. I’m also a Night Owl. And a “strategic” gamer–no sudden moves, please! This is good gear! Has a fun clicky sound. I got a backlit mouse and a backlit/edgelit mouse pad. Now I’m all set!
PS: I’m using a LOGITEC wrist pad too–there’s LOGITEC keyboards that have what I call a “chin” in case that works.
WesHump –
The action of the keys is perfect for me. The lighting of the keys is on point. And the clacking is music.
zaberwocky –
Love this keyboard. The sound isn’t too loud. Highlight feature is the comfort of typing long hours.
LindseyH –
Exactly what I was looking for so glad I bought it
rick –
title says it all. At times the function keys are not too visible in a dark room (even when the keyboard is lit). That other guy in the reviews is trippin, it aint that bad
TederickPearl –
Tje item is very good, and it responds to the purchase.
maxplay –
Good tkl, letters are difficult to read without backlight on.
Hindean –
I am really enjoying the G413 TKL SE keyboard, the keys so far are really responsive and seem to be less loud than my previous mechanical keyboard (think blue vs red). The size of the keyboard is also very nice and compact, giving me a lot more room on my desk for mouse movement which is something i really need. Bells and whistles, the keyboard does have gamer mode (FN+WINKEY) and has led light presets which are nice. The overall construction of this keyboard is very good and I think it will hold up for quite some time, which is nice considering how much cheaper this one is to the higher end models that Logitech makes. A definite high grade for this keyboard in the entry level of gaming keyboards. I would highly recommend this keyboard for someone on a budget but looking for a good gaming TKL board.

This was a gift to my grandson. He reports that he is very pleased with it.
Kolakoala –
Feel premium and well built I do recommend for others
Jonathan –
My favorite keyboard for an affordable price. It’s mature and built to last. I wasn’t expecting the build quality to be premium with PBT keycaps.
Keyboard –
I like the mechanical sound of the keyboard and loved the performance
darkcloud –
This keyboard is an absolute steal. Great keycaps. Great lighting options. Great action (on the heavier side, 50+g, which fits my preference). I am not some Logitech fanboy, for a mouse I use DeathAdder V2.
The instructions manual is missing a “pause/break” key. After fiddling with it, I’ve discovered that it can be achieved with FN + PG-Up (natural, next to scroll-lock and print-screen). There’s no mark on the PG-Up keycap about that. People reading this, please know that you don’t need key remapping to get pause/break.
The price/quality + brand = unbeatable. I’m using it at work, I write software. I’m getting at least 3 more, for home, gifting and spares. Great work, Logitech, people who designed this board for this price segment rock!
GinaB –
Easy to use and the size is perfect. Keys are soft and asi very seamless
Stef –
Great keyboard only giving 4 stars because I’m having trouble using the present commands on the F keys. The LED is not changeable. Kickstand is helpful while gaming so that the palm doesn’t accidentally hit keys. Logitec G hub does not support the keyboard (AKA no customization).
Hon3stReview –
Good mechanical keyboard and the size I need to fit the keyboard and mouse on desk.
JimmyS –
Good quality construction with good mechanical feel to the keys. Biggest complaint is that the close spacing of the shift and tab keys means that I keep hitting them accidentally while typing, particularly on the left hand side, which results in weird tabs and jumps being inserted if you’re not careful about pulling in your left pinky finger.
MBBO –
Fair price and good quality keyboard. What you would expect from the brand
Technocraft –
Good quality product. But doesn’t have extra number keys on right. If you can work with less keys then product is not bad.
Quinj –
Good keyboard is low light typing but the only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is, it is useless if the key lights aren’t lit up.
David –
Great keyboard for the price. Lights have to be on to see the keys. Nice keyboard!
Stars –
Low cost – Good Quality – Love the size – My desk feels less cluttered.
Osvaldo –
The Keyboard is great feels great to game and type on.
LoriW –
So far, this keyboard is functioning perfectly. I have no problems.
LaLa –
Excellent quality. Works wonderfully and easy key do play or work.

I use this keyboard to work from home and transport it with me to the office once a week. I don’t use it for gaming. I prefer mechanical keyboards for the aural and tactile feedback. This keyboard is no slouch. There is no ghosting at all. It accepts inputs faster than I could type. For the record, I type fast, really fast, without looking because in high-school, I attended a typing class. Since then, the qwerty keyboard layout has been etched in my brain and my motor skills. This keyboard can keep up with me and is worthy of its discounted price. I also took advantage of Logitech’s trade-in program which further reduced the price on top of the store discount.
I bought this keyboard to replace a cheap TKL purchased at Amazon which keeps on ghosting, causing my login id to get locked due to multiple incorrect passwords entered.
This keyboard increased my productivity, eliminated incorrect passwords. It’s small size and negligible weight, being a TKL, makes it ideal for WFH and mobile-office.
AdamR –
Order received was well packaged and had no damage, items itself feels very solid with it’s construction.
Had no issues so far, I would this as a good space saving keyboard for any user.
Gaurav –
Best budget gaming keyboard. Has premium feel to it. The clicks are amazing. I feel there are some ghosting when i click the key two times.
Phillip –
Needed a inexpensive keyboard to use for chat on PS5 and this works great
JacquelineC –
I really like this keyboard Thank you for having it in stock for me to enjoy
BP77 –
Does exactly what I wanted it to do with no compromises.
user930081 –
Love the touch and tactile feel of this keyboard. I really hate the chicklet ones or mushy keyboards.
francis67 –
i couldnt be more displeased.no screenshot ability! countless other supposed key commands do absolutely nothing and i mean nothing, maybe mines defective? im returning it and let it be known this version is the cheapo ripoff version of the g413,why you would even make this garbage is beyond explanation. its compact size makes the space bar in your way constantly,i could go on and on but ive wasted enough of my time on this trash
Joer –
Pretty good keyboard for the price. Would recommend.
PaulaS –
Bought this a year ago because I didn’t want the wide keyboard with the extra number pad. I never use that part. Love the way it lights up and works. No issues. Logitech is a great brand to buy. Highly recommend.
AxelO –
bought it for my brother and tells me that he likes it a lot more then his old one since the new one is much smaller
Alex –
Simple and compact. Keys feel nice to type with. Long keystroke so not the best for gaming
Ardz –
Really great keyboard, especially for price! Had it for a little over a year and coming back now, no issues whatsoever.
