    Amazing game. 1st time its ever been released here in the States. Released only in Asia decades ago. This game has you play multiple stories with different characters. Deff reccomend.

    Amazing that they are finally localizing these games that didn’t get US releases back in the day and giving them a sweet HD 2.5D revamp. It’s greatly appreciated and the music and storylines hold up incredibly well

    I never played the original Live A Live, but I’m happy I didn’t because this remake is incredible. This is like Canterbury Tales as an RPG. Square has taken the influence of this game and made octopath traveler, but here is where this concept began. Releasing alongside classics like chrono trigger and final fantasy 6, Live A Live was the black sheep, the forgotten child. It was uglier graphically with a strange battle system that made it an odd duck.

    Well this remake makes it beautiful and has the final realization of a vision from 1994. 8 characters have their own stories in different eras. Scenarios vary wildly in gameplay and story, and each one is refreshing compared to the last. Then they converge in a genius new addition to this remake that makes it the definitive version. The final chapter is truly something special to behold and a stroke of genius. So happy I got to experience this rare gem.

    I had no idea that Undertale’s music was inspired by this game’s original version… My daughter thought I was playing Undertale when I was in the other room… The game is great all around, and highly recommend…

    This is a fun JRPG game. I really like the updated graphics. This is not a game you can pick up and put down quick. It does take some time to figure out each era, but exploring it is fun for a completionist like me.

    probably a top 3 rpg for the switch so far (for me at least) this is not your typical rpg, expect to experience multiple different areas, stories, and adventures. this games stays interesting. if you like turnbased combast, top down, great story telling, pick this up. havent really seen it go on sale so buy it before its too late 🙂

    It was so cool to finally get to experience this game in the west. I’ve seen video game media and bloggers talk about it for years and all of their hype was well warranted. Game is incredible. Also, they can literally remake any 16 bit game in HD-2D and I’ll be in lol

    If you like the games of old Squaresoft, then this is a good one that never made it to America back in the day. It feels similar to something like Chrono Trigger. Great music, fun characters, and a neat HD pixel art style.
