    DOES NOT SUPPORT 10/100/1000 ON LAN, ONLY 10/100.

    Bought this thinking I could use it for gigabit but it doesn’t support it unlike it says so on the specs. Don’t get this one.

    i bought it for being cheap and this product had many speed issue it work okay but i return it and upgrade it i didn’t like it was design no wifi lights or power anything so you really cant tell if it as connection this product was not for me

    I’m using it for a closed network so I’m not using the routing – just the wifi. It’s easy to set up and so far is rock solid.

    Router is very easy to set up. I was able to, basically, completely change the default configuration to suit my use case. I am using it to provide Internet access for a single device (Raspberry Pi) on it’s own subnet to make it use the same WiFi configuration wherever I wish to use it. This use case doesn’t require anything faster than 100Mbit, so it’s lack of a Gbit capability (despite it being claimed in Best Buy’s description) is not an issue.

    Bought this as a go between to tie in our high speed cable connection to a 24 port switch. Works just fine. We have a much larger Linksys unit w/ eight antennas up on the third floor that is our primary Wireless Router.

    If I could give this 0 stars I would. Bought this because I thought the spectrum supplied one was bad. This router was by far a million times worse and it didn’t matter how close or far you were to the router or if you were on the 2 or 5. Complete TRASH.

    Doesn’t keep 5mbps down in the next room over. if you live in an apartment, this is acceptable, though.

    Upgraded the firmware after setup and it locked me out. Even factory reset wouldnt work. Took the router back right away. Not dealing with that right from thw get go! Bought tp-link and they are great!

    It works good for the price, it works better in short distances, if your home has multiple rooms it would be complicated to get an strong signal in some rooms not too close of it. It is easy to set it up.

    This was easy to set up and I was happy with it until my internet provider bumped up my download speed to 300 mbps at no extra cost, and I found out this router, despite Linksys claims of being capable of over 500 mbps, maxxed out under 100 mbps. I found out by connecting my modem directly to my computer, taking the router out of the link. Actually, my WiFi was streaming at under 50 mbps, which is pretty standard to get half your speed over WiFi. But just running the signal through the router via Ethernet cables also choked the signal down under 100 mbps to my desktop. So, this does the job for an inexpensive router, but don’t expect blazing speeds.
