Pick this game up and support it. Its a good game.
Kenmei –
Very good Yakuza game but an ancient engine that runs it holds it back in alot of places.
Milo –
Best game to play you’re a fan of yakuza games in the past
Carlos –
Medieval Yakuza. A little slow at first, then very good.
Jdrizzo86 –
Good action rpg, especially if you’re a Yakuza fan.

The story is about a 18th century ronin named Sakamoto Ryoma (Kiryu) trying to find the masked killer of his adoptive father.
I enjoyed how they reused character models from the previous Yakuza games.
Same corny quirky side quests that we all know and love from all previous yakuza titles
Combat could’ve been better its really simple and can be repetitive at times the gun/sword combo is pointless but overall I enjoyed it and I’m certain other yakuza fans will too
Gladiator50n –
I have been a fan of this franchise, and this takes place during a time when being one of the greatest warriors ever, I Love the storyline and action.

This is my 8th Yakuza Game! Not only it didn’t disappoint, I was surprised on how fun the combat is! Unlike Yakuza 7, this title has returned to action RPG again! Love the sword and Gun fighting style. Looking forward to Yakuza Gaiden! Thank you SEGA!

It’s really a great game. And I highly recommend it.

This one was disappointing in that it was just OK and doesn’t live up to the other games in the series. I didn’t find the story as gripping, the combat while flashier isn’t satisfying as enemies are spongy, and game balance is just bad. Yakuza games have never really nailed balance perfectly, but dang this one feels bad. Graphics are good, and the combat can still be fun sometimes. Some of the characters are interesting. Give it a go if you are a Yakuza fan, but pass otherwise. You’ll be bored and frustrated.

The Like a Dragon series is so much fun. There is a great story with lots of ups and downs fused with a wide variety of gameplay.
Dave –
Good game great series. Going through the game as a Samurai set in the 18th century. It’s a little bit different than the typical Yakuza series but nonetheless fun.

I love the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. This is an excellent remaster of the Japan exclusive Ishin! Spin-off. The gameplay is great and it still has the Yakuza flair, it’s just Samurai themed this time around.

Didn’t think this game would ever come out in the West. If you like the Yakuza series you’ll like this game. You get exactly what you expect.
