I bought this for my wife. Its awesome once you figure out the remote.

Great UHD monitor for using a MacBook Pro and a PC. Love the multiple input options and the headphone Jack so I can connect my speakers and have the inputs switch automatically. Did take some getting used to as it is a huge screen but now it is hard to live without it haha.

So far so good. Got it on sale (Black Friday). It was the most affordable 43″ monitor that I could find at the time. I had to decide between buying two mid-size monitors or one big monitor for work.
numbr1draftpick –
Awesome work monitor. Going 3 windows wide usually – Slack, browser, browser. Note, I have a relatively deep standing desk so it gives me reasonable distance from the screen.

Not as happy with the image as my Samsung monitor.
RyanI –
Picked up 2 of these monitors for identical desk setups at home and office. Paired up with the Apple Macbook Air and onscreen control, I can split the screen into 8 windows if needed. These monitors are awesome!!

It’s a nice idea, but this particular monitor is extremely frustrating, unusable at times. Randomly, the screen will go black for 6 seconds or so, then your desktop reappears. Of course this happens when I’m researching, editing video, other important things, but never when I’m not working on something. I’ve used three different computers, same thing happens. I’ve even hooked up two computers on a split view configuration and one side goes out while the other operates properly. Then later the working side goes off while the other side stays on. Completely frustrating for what was a $600 monitor. I’ve updated my computers, switch cables, updated the firmware for the monitor, and it still flashes. This is at my satellite office and I was not in this office much over the past year.

This monitor died literally one week after my 1-year manufacturer’s warranty expired. I called LG and they told me it would take over $400 plus tax to attempt a repair. I just threw $600 out the window on this monitor.
jameyh –
Very good monitor. Excellent image and audio quality.
BradBeatty –
Image quality was not good when using it for text, cad or image editing.
kejoba –
This monitor just works flawlessly. At this price I wasn’t expecting this level of quality.
Scott45 –
Went in to Best Buy to pick up the monitor and the box had damages and I just hope it’s not damage
JustinW –
For the price was well worth it. Doesnt take up much room for its size

It BIGGG. Great monitor for traditional Microsoft office / Zoom / Web worker. By dragging apps to corners, you can create four traditional monitors in 2×2 setup or have the equivalent of two vertical monitors in one screen (dragging two apps to midway point of right or left screen). I don’t use PIP mode. Solid clarity and refresh when using USBC to DisplayPort connection. May need Thunderbolt 4 or equivalent for USB-C to USB-C connection. Perfect partner for new base Mac Mini M2.
User settings:
80 Brightness
60 contrast
50 Sharp
Super Resolution High
Black level 45
Gamma 2.2
Colors all set at 58

Not a good product do not buy. Screen was really fuzzy. I’m not good 4K quality. Very disappointing and the product.
briand –
Really enjoy this monitor. At 125% zoom its perfect. Really does help productivity. I like having 2 full size documents next to each other. Windows 11 snap functions really open the doors to the possiblies with this. I didnt think I’d like it as much over 32″ qhd i have but the difference is noticable.
Brandon –
Great 4K monitor. I would highly recommend buying if youre looking for 4K resolution and a large format(physically) display.
BBReviewer –
Image is fantastic for all, but the professional graphic accuracy work. Great anyone who wants a really large display. I use for prudctivity work and it offers tons of spce to work on. Works perfectly stable on my M1 Mac mini. There are 4 inputs, but only two offer 4k/60FPS unfortunately the other two are 4k/30fps. Kinda lame. Having a remote is a lofe saver as I need the monitor a bit furthar away due to its size. Now for my biggest complaint and that is the weight. It is seriously double the weight of LG’s 40″ ultrwide display. Maybe because of it’s four direct inputs that allow for Split View of four separate computers. Yes, you can have unto four split screens directly from this display. Maybe those power inputs add weight, but either way this is one heavy display, 40lbs heavy. Wowza! I got it on sale for $450, regular price is even a grood price compared to other less featured displays.

Great Monitor with Quality and Features. Able to watch movie and work at same time without any issue. It is best in its class.

I bought one LG 43″ monitor to replace one of my two 32″ monitors when I got a new gaming system. It looks amazing and is much easier to read for my aging eyes. I liked it so well that I purchased another one like it to replace the other 32″monitor, so I now once again have two big monitors of the same size and resolution. I’d definitely do it again, knowing what i know now. More than worth the price to me.
wdh1802 –
Monitor was an open box purchase. In very good condition and well worth the discounted price.
KMor64 –
A perfectly adequate ultra-large monitor, though more hefty than I had hoped.
AnjaneyS –
Its better to use a tv and start mirroring your phone on it or connect your laptop to it. Waste of money and even the trade in value at best buy is near to nothing.
Nelsonv –
Great monitor. Takes a while getting used to such a large monitor. Would be nice if monitor auto detects active input. The first one had a dead pixel. Hopefully this one will be ok. Geek squad warranty replaced. Make sure they know this is a monitor not a TV. For TV warranty they require 3 dead pixels before replacing.
Fred –
What’s not to love about a 43” monitor? As an architect I like the size for reviewing drawings. Great resolution means super sharp image quality. Wish I’d bought years ago.
DisplayName –
I would give it a zero if I could. This monitor stopped working after 4 months. (No video signal using USB C or HDMI) Tried it on windows pc, mac, and various laptops. It was returned to LG for repair. After 3 weeks came back, It worked for another 5 months and stopped working. I am within 1 year warranty. Just called LG, they will not issue a refund. I don’t want to waste another month waiting for this monitor to possibly be repaired. Poor quality and customer service.
EricC –
Amazing monitor! Would buy it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Compmagic –
Great monitor. The multi input in single screen is great.
AnatoliiL –
I’m involved in graphic design, and I needed a good, large, high-quality monitor for my work. I spent a long time searching online. I read many reviews and watched numerous videos on YouTube. In the end, I chose the LG – 43″ UltraFine 4K UHD Monitor. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The monitor is very large, allowing me to work on projects and read news or communicate on social media simultaneously. I appreciate the brightness and clarity of the image, as well as the ability to connect this monitor to multiple computers at once!
pilige –
One of the best monitors I’ve used for productivity.
Optionbear66 –
I recently upgraded my workstation with the LG 43″ UltraFine 4K UHD Monitor in sleek Black, and I have been nothing short of impressed with its performance and features.
The standout feature of this monitor is its stunning 4K UHD resolution. The clarity, sharpness, and color accuracy are truly remarkable. Whether I’m working on intricate design projects, watching 4K movies, or simply browsing the web, the visual quality is consistently outstanding. The size of the screen enhances productivity and immersive viewing experiences, making multitasking a breeze.
The USB-C connectivity is a game-changer. It not only simplifies cable management but also allows for a single-cable connection to my laptop, providing power, video, and data transfer through a single cord. This streamlined setup has made my workspace much cleaner and more organized.
The monitor’s color accuracy is excellent, making it ideal for content creators and professionals who rely on accurate color representation. It covers a wide color gamut and supports HDR content, delivering vibrant and true-to-life visuals.
Additionally, the inclusion of multiple ports, including USB-A and HDMI, adds to its versatility. It’s easy to connect various devices, from external hard drives to gaming consoles, without the need for additional adapters.
The build quality is sturdy, and the minimalist design adds a touch of sophistication to my workspace. The adjustable stand and VESA mount compatibility allow for customization to suit my ergonomic preferences.
While the LG UltraFine 4K UHD Monitor is undoubtedly a top-tier product, the price may be a bit steep for some. However, considering the exceptional display quality, connectivity options, and overall performance, it’s a worthy investment for anyone seeking a premium monitor for professional work or entertainment.
In conclusion, the LG 43″ UltraFine 4K UHD Monitor with USB-C Connectivity is a standout product that has greatly enhanced my computing experience. Its impressive display, convenient connectivity, and build quality make it an excellent choice for both productivity and entertainment. If you’re willing to invest in quality, this monitor is worth every penny.

My 32″ monitor died. I was tired of dual monitor setups, so I bought this one. I easily get all my windows up at the same time. The resolution and screen area mean I can get my entire spreadsheet on the screen at once.
I actually have two–one at work and one at home.
MIkeF –
The LG 43″ monitor I purchased lasted less than 3 weeks before suddenly dying completely while I was using my PC. (I appreciate Best Buy standing behind it and accepting my return, despite technically being slightly outside the return window.) Outside of that, there were about a half dozen pixels dead in the upper left of the screen, and the right edge of the screen was noticeably darker than the rest. I considered the flaws minor enough to overlook them, although the Dell 43″ monitor I have replaced it with is definitely superior in many ways, albeit at a somewhat higher price.

Bouth 2 of these, 1 new and 1 used. New is excellet I’m using it for a long time now. And the other one what was used arrived damaged. In total it’s great monitor, the best one as 43′ you can find. Reccomend a lot, but make sure it’s not brokern.
PaulE –
I love being able to read blueprints without enlarging the size,
BritNJ –
Highly recommend if you need the large screen size ror multitasking purposes. Just make sure that your desk has enough depth so you are not too close to the screen. Otherwise, great piece of kit.
jj00 –
I’ve had this monitor for a year and still love it. I work from home so this acts as my work monitor during the day and then TV at night. It’s large enough that I can split it into 4 21-inch screens.
Austin –
Good work from monitor as long as you are alright with one large monitor.
ethernet would be nice though. Charges laptop while connected.
nickrodr –
Hands down one of the best monitors I have ever used. It allows me to multitask and visualize multiple tabs without the thought of having it too small. Highly recommend!
RobinR –
The resolution is very good and the dimensions and their ratios are very good. You can have one large screen for gaming or like 4 screens for working.
Landon –
6 total inputs is crazy. Love that i can use the usbc cable for both a display and charger for my macbook. For the price, i would say its a very good monitor
Larrydaj –
Fabulous 43 inch Monitor. Display is beautiful. Lots of real estate and one will never go back to small monitors. Highly Recommend. Great Price too.
Kafinator –
Outstanding clarity. I love this monitor! The multiple inputs are very nice but the KVM software “dual controller” is pretty cool too. It can be very bright and sitting more than 30 inches back helps.
JBfromLBC –
As a monitor for coding (not gaming) this is an excellent monitor and size. Since at 4k you can run it full resolution without any magnification and have a lot of screen real estate to work with for dev tools. Small text on IPS panel is clear and solid at 60 hz.
Izr88 –
This monitor looks great while playing games. Colors are crisp and clear. Only giving a 4 because purshase did not come with a power cable.
ChrisW –
As good as advertised. Simple multi window with a lot of preset layouts in the software. I’m not very tech savvy. Needed to move my webcam over so just plugged it in the back of the hub. Works. I am running off of my laptop. Get a thunderbolt cable. USBC cable doesn’t work. This replaced my previous 3 monitor setup and then some. I use it in an 8-5 environment so can’t speak to gaming or anything. For a work powerhouse, I love it.
April –
An awesome screen +. Easy to set up and use. It has great color. All I could ask for in a TV and/or computer monitor. Everything you need all in one screen. Great for work and play
Thanks.

Returning this today…. The monitor is large and that’s good, but that’s where the goodness stops. Since the minute I hooked this up to my computer it hasn’t done anything great. The picture is meh, it’s very slow response when changing inputs, the display has just shut off on me more than 10 times while switching PIP configuration. It’s just not good. The biggest reason I am returning is that it is not recognized by my HP Thunderbolt (3 display version). The whole purpose of this monitor for me was to have 4 useable screens on one monitor using one computer and adding the fire stick to the 4th HDMI input. It is not compatible to do this. If that’s what you want to do, don’t buy this. I’ll replace this with 3 27’ Benq monitors and that will be 1,000,000 times better. Maybe a bit more cost but if you use your computer for long hours at work, it’s a better decision.
If you want a glare free 43’ monitor/TV, this may be for you, but that’s it. Nothing more or amazing.

I had tried a couple of solutions for the second monitor in my office. My main monitor is an ultra-wide which is great for linear-based editing and the like but sucks for normal tasks where there isn’t enough vertical space. This monitor really ticks all the boxes, has a very nice image and plenty of brightness.

There are so many ways to connect devices. This has completely revamped my workflow and improved my productivity, efficiency, and work life balance.
